- The college infrastructure is admirable and of course as the oldest Dental College of Asia they just don't compromise anything
- As for campus it's relatively shorter but that's enough because students and Patients are comfortable
Dislikes
- All the faculties are good but sometimes they pressurized us too much
- The campus is good but the thing we lack is a collge ground
Remarks :
This College has a great history as it's the first dental college in Asia . After cracking NEET according to my score I got a seat in this college in 2021. This College provide us with good faculties as well as every branch of dentistry possible
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is relatively shorter but that's also beneficial for us. All faculties are highly qualified as they have done master's and Ph.D. Teaching methods are admirable and the college also provides several scholarships for students
Internships Opportunities :
College provide us internship as soon as we completed our academic years . And there are lots of department so we do our internship in small groups and rotates every month so that everyone can earn a good experience
Placement Experience :
In dentistry we can't be so sure about placement but ues our college provide us 1 year of internship facility and also House- Staff-ship . Government provide us with a hood amount of salary during our internship and house-staff-ship
Campus Life :
The college campus is average as compared to others and yes we have an excellent library in college. In college we celebrate a lot of different festivals and social programs such as 26 January, Oral Health Organisation Day, Anti Tobacco Day, etc and the main festive of college is of course the grand fest which is held yearly once

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
