Likes
- The faculties here are good and the method of teaching is very good, our HOD were also very good.
- The campus is good, you will get to see greenery in the campus.
Dislikes
- The environment here is not good and the food is not good at all due to which the students remain troubled.
- Management is not good at all, children are treated very badly here.
Remarks :
The fees of this college are very low and this college provides good facilities at low fees. Admission is direct in this college. The hostel facilities here are not good and the food is not good in the hostel as well.
Course Curriculum Overview :
If you can negotiate here at the time of admission then you can do it because you will get a good and special scholarship. To gain admission in BBA, you should have 60% in your 12th. Here an exam is taken every month due to which students remain under some stress.
Internships Opportunities :
We did not get an internship from here but we were given "Disha training" from Godrej. We were taught about management and later on, we also got a chance to work with live projects in Godrej. A training certificate has not yet been given to us by the college.
Placement Experience :
There is no placement at all here, these people say before admission that they will give 100% placement, but nothing like that happens. Only two children got placement in my class whose salary is Rs 10000 per month. There is no set criteria for appearing in placements here.
Campus Life :
Campus life is good, hostels are also available here. I was in the hostel, The hostel food is not very good but you will find food stalls around the hostel. The biggest event here is Kingstoxication which happens every year and these people invite some celebrity. A library facility is available in every department and a computer lab is also available in every department. The size of the classrooms is large.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
