- The infrastructure is amazing, no need of Air conditioning in the rooms.
- The college is very strict of greenery, you'll get to see n number of trees, plants.
Dislikes
- It's not that big, as compared to other college campus.
- There are many restrictions for both hostel boys and girls.
Remarks :
There are no admission criteria as such but depends upon the total seats of the course, talking about my course the aggregate figure is 160. The college study wise is very good as compared to other colleges which I've seen but there is no strictness for attendance.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I want to pursue an MBA further thus I chose B.Com(H). The faculty is very knowledgeable and know what they are teaching, they know about the topics very well. They even prepare PPTs for the same. There are a total of 2 sessionals and thereafter final exams. The difficulty level is medium. No scholarships.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any placements yet as we are not eligible for the same. After completion of the fourth semester, we can apply for campus placements and companies will come to the college and select the students.
Placement Experience :
You need to join TPP classes to be eligible for the placement drive. We have not started with the placement yet. But the highest and lowest packages are 900000/- and 300000/- respectively. About 20% of the students get placed via campus placements.
Campus Life :
Life here is very exciting, you get to see many fests (once a month) where popular singers and actors/actresses come, and DJ nights, these all things make college life very exciting. The libraries are huge, you get to see n number of books, whatever book you want, you'll get it there. You can issue them for 21 days. There are smart classrooms that allow better understanding for the students. Many sports activities occur also with other colleges. Extracurricular activities are also there. These are organized by the senior students with the help of staff. There are n number of clubs you can join in like photography, dance, singing, et cetera. Talking about the hostel, I live in a hostel and the fee is 110000/- which is worth it. The food quality is okay okay, not the best, but you'll get variety.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
