Remarks :
This was a good college for commerce students. It has been recording for some years for placement. The teachers are awesome. Fees to less as a government college. The bad thing was the building of the college was too short. You Don't have to prepare for any exam to be admitted I this college only you need to apply to This collage official website. Reservations are available as per the government rules. Cut off not much high. Anyway, you can get admission easily.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The teachers are very good. They complete the whole syllabus before the exam. Every student can understand easily and ask problems very easily. You have to prepare 2 times a year for an exam. And the exam was not so much difficult. Fees were 9500 which was a very good and affordable price for this course. You can get a scholarship for this college through the government which was SMVCM and Kanyashre etc.
Internships Opportunities :
This college doesn't have any type of internship program. You can't avail of this facility from this college. Because the College was not able to make an internship programme. But you can get placement easily if you are a good student.
Placement Experience :
Placement was very nice from 5-6 years. Top students with good knowledge can get easily placement and many offers. You have to get 70% + to get placement. Many companies offer 10-12 times. Pay not so much amount as well highest amount goes upto 70 thousand per month. But the average can get 15,000 per month. The percentage of students in placement was 35% which was good in this locality. You can plan to do an MBA after getting a degree from this college which was much paid.
Campus Life :
It has a fest which is named "Borshoboron" where the old students come and treat new students. This happens every year at a time of the 2nd month of every year. Here available a library where you can find many types of books only for study. There were no sports activities this was a bad thing. There are many hostels nearby which pay a lot of money but if you qualify for a government hostel it is less paid and Good. I have rented a PG at only 5000 rs near Shubhas Pally where you can find many PGs.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
