Likes
- The infrastructure is good like not very small campas and also not very large as campus area is 148 acres , you can roam freely at anytime (not for 1st year and girls they have time bound of 10:00pm)
- There are so many events happening on the daily basis , as students from different culture and region try to celebrate there culture with everyone
Dislikes
- The first thing is 75% attendence criteria
- There should be atleast 2 canteens that should be open in Night after 12 : 00 am currently only one if allowed to open
Remarks :
According to my JEE Mains rank, I had plenty of options but this college was my home state so it was offering me better branches compared to other colleges I can have Mechanical from NIT Kurukshetra but I chose ICE from NIT Jalandhar and of course, there is another factor also which is placements, the year I enrolled in which was 2021 that year passing out batch has 4 students which were placed in amazon for 44 Lpa apart from placement I read college reviews from different sites and youtube videos which make me choose this college...
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite old but the college is trying to update it according to industrial standards... The faculty is good they are qualified and even some professors have dual PhD degrees, yes some professors are strict and follow the rules and regulations of the institute but some professors are chill to take classes and test acc. To student preferences... They will be conducting exams 2 times per semester with 30 marks Mid sem and 50 marks end sem and the remaining 20 marks will be regular assessments which include quizzes and assignments, about the difficulty level it's moderate like if you attend all the classes and have proper class notes than it will be easy for you to score at least 8 spas... The cost to study is the same as other NITs which I think is reasonable cost given the facilities they provide if you belong to obc SC or ST and even with a family income of less than 5 lpa or 1 lpa there is a huge relaxation in tuition fees...
Internships Opportunities :
I have applied for internships in reliance, ZS, systray, BIS, etc but still, the results are not out yet...Reliance and ZS are offering a 40k per month stipend followed by BIS offering 20k per month and lastly, Systra is offering a 15k per month stipend... These all are core-based companies with chemical and electrical as core and ZS is offering management positions so the task will be on-site and data analysts respectively.
Placement Experience :
You should have at least 7.5 cpga to be eligible for almost all of the companies last year Nvidia, BPCL, HPCL, Deloitte, ZS, Reliance, Microsoft (intern), Amazon, Google(intern), etc are the recruiters that offer full-time placements in the campus during your final year of college... Around 83-85% of students got placed from my branch with an average of 11Lpa here most of the students apply for placement those who are not able to get placed can try PSU through GATE or opt for higher studies like MTech, MBA, etc and of course, my plan is also to get placed first...
Campus Life :
The library is good now there is a separate building for a reading room and a new library section which allows you to carry a book for 2 weeks after that tenure is complete you can reissue it... There are more than 10 clubs that are actively working on the campus including the dance clubs which are SI and Criminalz, the music clubs which are octaves and Beparwah, the dramatics clubs which kalakaar and Baware, FineArts Societyy, ZealSocietyy, LADC ( literature and debating club), Bhangra Club, Sanskriti club, regional language club, Green Club et,c and Two major teams which conduct utkansh and technician are TCA (team cultural affairs) and TTA ( team technical affairs) respectively... The hostels are good and good quality of the mess is also good which have 3 times meals a day and 1-time snack in the evening...

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
