As we know IIITs are well-known Universities recognized after NITs, here there are good placements and opportunities, it is good and worth it. The admission process goes as for other universities like by jee mains result, the cutoff required for this college is nearly 95 percentile. As such there was no GD or PI held during the admission, we have enrolled in JOSSA counseling and if the cutoff is ok then we will give the college any round of counseling.
I am currently pursuing a BTech in electronic and communication engineering. I chose this subject because I like the practical part and as we know, here we have both the fields of software and hardware according to the interest of the student. The faculty here is qualified and has Ph. D.s from some reputed colleges. They give us a practical approach and in-depth knowledge of the concept which is easy to grasp, all the faculty is friendly and approachable which indeed helps to clarify and talk openly. Here we follow the 2 sessions and 1 end-semester pattern for exams later all the marks are summed up for the results, the period is once a month, and these exams are held on a moderate difficulty level. The fee for the course is 247000 and we haven't seen any fee hike now, Scholarships are provided as per the state and central government norms, and educational loans can be availed.
Students are eligible for placement and internships offered from 3rd year of engineering. Some recently visited recruiters are Wipro, Microsoft, Google, L&T infotech, TCS, etc, nearly 64%of offers were made and placed with a good package. The highest package offered was in 2023 i.e. 92 LPA and the average package goes up to 15 LPA, nearly 70 %of students got placed from the last batch passed out. The internship of 6 months is compulsory. Companies like Nividia come and train the students for their internships. My plan after getting a degree is to go for my higher education in the field I choose.
There are three types of fest conducted, the cultural fest is held in February known as "Abhivyakti " later there is a technical fest held in September called "Tantra Fiesta" and the sports fest is "Kshitij" held in January. The library is good and has a sufficient collection of books and journals required for study purposes it can be issued by the students. Classrooms are well equipped with projectors and are air-conditioned, they are well maintained. The sports are ok, and the extracurricular activities are good too as we have different clubs like D-terexia for dance, Crescendo for music, probe for Photography, and Estoria for drama. The small events are held by these clubs for entertainment and enjoyment purposes. There are some clubs run by students themselves like "Strokes" for design, Elevate for study, and Dot Slash for coding. The hostel food quality is good and the menu changes every month, The hostel is allotted on a first come first basis, and the fee is 123000, PG can be rented in nearby areas.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
