- They need to update the library and give access to more books, make full campus wifi.
- Management here is a bit of tierd, we need more rooms.
Remarks :
In terms of campus life SNU is overall good from academic aspects, but it is also very good. The CSE dept has a proper infrastructure and guidelines to guide students but this college has to improve its central library and it does not have full campus wifi. To get admission to SNU Kolkata one can easily appear in the wbjee, Jee Main, or SNU entrance test and go through the admission procedure. I appeared on wbjee my cutoff was 64k, I applied for counseling and I got snug CSBs as far from my reference. More there is a cutoff between 20k to 65k.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course was TCS integrated means this curriculum was designed by TCS.. We have a great faculty with experience, Professors here have PhD degrees from top-tier universities and there are also lab faculties who have at least an M.tech or equivalent degree. We have two semesters in a year 1. Summer 2. Autumn Semester exams are also divided into two terms- Midterms and End-terms End term exam also has lab exams, viva, and assignments. In my admission year (2022) fee for my course was 670000 but now it's 700000... I think studying here is a bit expensive but in terms of faculty and output from the other end, it's digestible. This college is an approved college so anyone studying this course for sure apply for the national scholarship scheme or the state scholarship scheme(SVMCM or Aikyashree). A demand draft Is also acceptable. Snu provides a scholarship according to the percentage of class 12 board exams.
Internships Opportunities :
Honestly, I am not doing any internship but there are many internship opportunities.... Many companies or organizations organize hackathons, of cracked it give internship opportunities, and internships from college are also available during 3rd year, which could be with a stipend or without a stipend... Projects could be from the things you learn in college or you have to put some extra effort into a new skill.
Placement Experience :
Score a minimum cgpa of 6.1 for an overall 4 years or 8 semesters to get into any placement drive. Here, TCS, Wipro, cognizant, L&T, Microsoft, and Amazon are some famous recruiters... This year's highest CTC was 48 lpa in Microsoft and the lowest CTC was 3 lpa in TCS. According to resources this college has a record placement of 100% I would go for a corporate job after my b.tech on campus or off campus.
Campus Life :
Pleasant campus life here at SNU. Every month there are ongoing seminars and events at SNU. Winter is the sun's fest season, From December to February colleges or students organize various fests officially or unofficially... Snu holds sports tournaments during the season football, Futsal, badminton, and many more sports activities are held throughout January and February. Snu lacks form library management and snu has its journal. The classroom has charger points, table chairs, good lighting and fans, labs have ACs, and 24X7 electricity, washrooms are well built, and drinking water purifiers are available outside of every washroom. GDSC Sun, and RPCC Sun, are skeptic and are run by SNU students which helps other students to grow. One should apply for the hostel through a form given to them. Hostel quality, security, and transportation are good, hostel fees start from 6k and go up to 12k-15k per month. Local accommodations like PG mess are also available at Jatragachi, shapoorji, and Bishnupur.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
