- The infrastructure is not that big but there are two buildings in our college and both are close to each other. The classrooms are fully air conditioned and have Wi-Fi facilities as well. Moreover, there is a library which students can easily access. The classroom consists of projectors as well.
- Apart from that the corporate session is very good which I like the most in this college
Dislikes
- The infrastructure should be big enough for students
- The college hours is too big. It should be shortened
Remarks :
The best MBA college in Kolkata though it has a small infrastructure but overall I can say it's a very good college where they provide thorough industrial training which is essential for students. The admission criteria are based on CAT,MAT and CMAT after that personal interviews were taken
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college provides us with very great faculties with different corporate experiences and they are very friendly. Also, they are very supportive as well. They will not only help us enhance our theoretical knowledge but will also help us build our confidence and at the same time, will help us enhance our practical knowledge, too. Apart from that quad master system is there for exams including NISM certification which is mandatory for placements as well
Internships Opportunities :
Many good companies come here for internships and traineeships along with good stipends. I was selected by hdfc Bank for an intern role where I get to learn a lot from the industry which I can apply in the future
Placement Experience :
The college placements to its students with decent packages of? 600000 as starting based on the students' industry in which they want to pursue their careers. However, students need to build up their skills to get their placements
Campus Life :
The overall college life according to me is good so far and yes, we have plenty of challenging events which are very interesting and also provide great learning. We do have many clubs in our college. One of the best events of our college is ‘Ole’ which is a type of sports event where there are many games to play.

Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.

One should not be have any backlogs to sit for campus placements and should keep a decent GPA as many companies puts a cut off GPA. Placements are very decent and almost 70 percentage gets placed many of the others gets into higher studies

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects.
