- Faculties provided by the college is very good. Teacher's are always ready to help the students and also the office staffs. I like it
- Campus life was very good.Ut was more fun. All the friends are good. And a good atmosphere for the mental health.
Dislikes
- College infra5was not as good as we expect. I need further more improvement. The college administration should be careful about that.
- Not too serious but in summer days we felt some issues. Fan's were not enough i think..
Remarks :
Their admission process is crystal clear. There are no admission test for admission. It is on the marks you obtained in your preferred subject you wants to do the course. And the cut-off is around 70 percent minimum. The admission process is completely online. Student have to apply in the admission portal for the respective college in his preferred subject. After that a marks wise marit list prepared by the college. And if some of the students don't take admission then the next merit list will be out within a week. After the completion of admission process the orginal document will be verified ofline mode in the college campus. And the process is very clear.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have opted for B.Sc mathematics honours. It has total fourteen core papers in math. And some generic elective papers on different semester. You have to complete those 14 core and 4 elective papers within 3 years generally. To be honest the faculties provided by the college is very good. Teacher's are very helpful as well as the nin teaching office staffs. They are always very helpful. Our exam pattern was semester based. There are total 6 semester. And all have the duration of 6 months including exam. College teacher conducts a class test before the main exam in every paper . Personally I felt you have to give most of your time in study. Otherwise you may feel hard and sometimes you may fail to clear the exam. The syllabus is good. But it needs some improvement. There are no extra hidden money required for the course. You need a total of 20,000 to 25,000 in all 3 years. And there are some scholarship available like viveknanda scholarship for financial support.
Placement Experience :
Mainly there are no campus placement occured after completion of the course. To get a job you need further more courses to complete like M.Sc. you have to keep your study process going. And i think students will get a minimum of 7 lakh per annum job after all. Since it's not an engineering college so no campus placement took place there..
Campus Life :
Yaa campus life was very interesting. It is too much fun. The atmosphere is very good. Not too much serious. Every December there is a fest. And theere are annual sports program, which was too interesting. Library support was fully available for all the students every day except holidays. Every types of books are available there. You can spend your time in library as you like , it's quite and the best atmosphere for some creativity as well as learning. There are no social groups which was run by the students. But there are groups where teachers and students are all together. Hostel faculty was very good. The food quality is also good. Room are big enough. And in hostel personal room as well as shared room is available. You can chose as your own. First aid and medical support was available. Food shops are within 2 minutes distance of walking. Friends are very helpful as well as seniors and juniors.. we are like a group of same class...

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
