Admission process was very swift and healthy. The college speaks for itself. The statistics speak for themselves. 99% ilers like me don't require needless PR to choose a college. We believe on facts and IIIT-D knows it. Additionally, i would like to add that it's common knowledge that the placements of our college are top notch, what's lesser known is the research facilities and state of the art equipments available in our university. The Research and Development block (R&D) building is our galore and the equipment, facilities and guiding professors have no match across the entire country.
Rigid and Intense for people who want to go into research and actually make a difference in the world, slightly above average for the guy who wants to enjoy his life and get a nice placement, Nil for someone who has no aim for academic prowess as there is no attendance requirement here.Top notch and bordering on the tougher side for those who want to actually make a differenc Comparable if not better than IIT-Delhi and IIT-B. I won't speak much to their credibility as it's not my place nor do I have the authority to do so. It's all available on the college's website. You can verify yourself their qualifications. ;) Little known fact about our college is that despite the fee being on the higher side (as it's not funded by the Central Government), there are over 10 different scholarship opportunities for someone with an annual family income under 8LPA in the first semester itself. Laptop reimbursements later)
Hopefully by 3rd year. I'm just staring 2nf year. You can get placements in 1st year too if you put in that extra effort. I personally know a couple of students who bagged an intern in 1st year. Personally,Too young to be bound by desks as of now.
Placements and job Opportunities is something that I can safely say our college surpasses at least 5 out of the top 10 colleges in India. I'll try to break it into two parts--(all of this data is available on the website). Pre Recession Placements. Median package- Over 25Lpa Median Package of top 3 branches (CSE, CSAM, CSAI)- Over 35Lpa Placement percentage- 94% overall. 100% for top 3 branches. No. Of offers- Always exceeds the number of students by a margin of 150+ Recruiters include Swiggy, Zomato Microsoft, Goldman Sachs and basically any company you want to get into. Eligibility Criteria - You are a part of this college and you have passed all your subjects. Rest, you can leave upto the placement cell Highest Package- Over 70 Lpa For Post Recession era- you can decrement the statistics by about 24% if I'm being completely honest. (PS: this is still better than almost all Tier 1 colleges)
The campus life is actually good despite common norms. I won't speak more to this (due to legal reasons, but I'd advise you to spend a day in our Old Boys Hostel before judging. Social Life and Clubs are more than in any IIT across the country. Heck we can't even name the clubs. I just realised we had a mature club and it's been a year and I had no idea. Infrastructure and Hostel- Despite the area of the college being limited, the infrastructure is state of the art. The hostels are clean, you also have freedom and most of the rules are very very lenient (again you'd have to spend a day, i can't speak more to this publicly.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
