Remarks :
As the name suggest National institute of technology raipur it is one of the top considered engineering institutions in the india yes u heard it right Nits and iits . For getting in to this college i passed joint entrance exam mains i got 94 percentile in 2022 to seek admission in to this college..
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course is divided in to 8 sems . There are two examinations each sem one is mid sem and other is end sem .. proferssors are good here but the 75 percent attendance criteria is very strict here.. fees is somewhere around 6 lpa but there is remission of tuition fee even full on the basis of category and annual income.. plenty of scholarships available like state scholarships and merit scholarships…
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted for college based intership only rest there are multiple internships available especially for top branches like there is internship for algo üniversity, goldman sacchs for sde role for core people usually choose college interships or govt institutions
Placement Experience :
There are good amount of offers by the companies for placements . There are 10 branches in our college and average package among all is 10 lpa.. companies allows for both core as well as non core jobs . Placement percentage is between 70-90 along different branches..
Campus Life :
Campus life is average when it comes to infrastructure but when it comes to club committees and fests it is awesome there are number of committees in college like shaurya ,sanskriti etc arround 5 fests happen every year ie samar, esummit, eclectika, aavartan and icell event.. hostels are limited it is given only to the meritorious students quality of food is decent. 4 times per day meal is provided..

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
