Hansraj college the Best college of Delhi University?

- The front area of Library in Hansraj is one of the most aesthetic areas amongst the entire DU colleges.
- The library is really clean Classes are air conditioned. Gardens and canteen s are well maintained.
- Faculty are friendly and ready to help. (Lab staffs are a headache which i guess is the case with rest of all colleges as well.)
- Events are well enough including the special events where important personalities visit the college and attend events as guests or speakers.
Remarks :
Hansraj is one of the most reputed colleges under the University of Delhi. If a student wants to benefit from the exposure, opportunities, and facilities provided by college then they should opt for the best or top colleges and since I wanted the same for myself, I chose Hansraj.
Course Curriculum Overview :
When I was preparing my preference list, I put Life Sciences at the top because it gives more options to choose a major from and since I was not sure which one I wanted, I chose Life Sciences. Now in Life sciences, you study Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology as core subjects and then you have a General Elective under which you can pursue any subject from any department (learn Python from CS, learn physics from the physics dept, etc). At last, you have the additional "extra" papers to study which are SEC, VAC, and AEC under the NEP. (These are not very important tbh). I Hansraj I found that the biology departments have really good faculty members. The chemistry department is also fine.
Campus Life :
Although there is not much Campus life at Delhi University. But there's for sure a great College life experience that a student may experience if they are active in social and academic fields. On North campus after every few 100 meters there is one esteemed college. You don't find this everywhere. The roads whenever you go out will be filled with students. It gives a safe environment for the women/girls as well. Riding Yulu late at night and enjoying the traffic-less roads is one thing that we North Campus students flex a lot about. Festivals and sports events get organized starting from February to May. The society of Hansraj are active (not all but the good ones are)

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
