Remarks :
Around 50% of students are placed, with an average salary package of 3 LPA and a highest salary package of 6 LPA The college is considered good compared to other general-degree colleges, with Wi-Fi available throughout the campus The course syllabus includes both theory and practice
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as it my favourite. The faculty of our college is very good every teacher is highly educated. They take timely tests to ensure good preparation. there are many scholarships like Swami Vivekananda scholarship and kanyashree prakalpa. The fees increase every year with 100 rupees.
Internships Opportunities :
No I have not opted for any internship right now. I am focusing on the college academics and trying to gain more and more knowledge from it. To ensure a better future with my favourite subject English.
Placement Experience :
Our college generally doesn't assure such placement as it is a govt college. But many organisations and other companies do come sometimes to meet the students to know their worth if they are really good enough for gaining placement. And if they find so they assure placement. My plan after bachelors is to pursue masters in English.
Campus Life :
Every year in the month of January we have our college fest organised. It is called the college social fest. Artists from Kolkata come to grace the event. The library is full of knowledge. It never disappoint the students especially of our college. In every classroom we have air conditioner and cctv and digital boards. In sports we have short put, 500 mtrs run, 1000 mtrs run. Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
