Worst Decision of my life
Remarks :
Like in my case a call from college comes to me for admission as a marketing strategy by the collge. I want a college and this has approach so I have taken admission , and I read the reviews but all are not true , after coming to this College I am thinking about where I am , this is not looks like a college where not a single lab is working properly.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am so much interested in Graphic designing and software Development so I choose Computer science and engineering , here are exam are conducted at every month and a practical exams every 2nd month and semester times are not fixed it depends on university. I have given 3 semesters in a single year. faculties are good but not able to complete the syllabus.
Internships Opportunities :
From college There is not a single internships offer and help , I have applied and done many from my own knowledge and connections as I have to reach the companies to myself , college is not going to help you in this.
Placement Experience :
From 7th sem students are eligible for placements like in year 2023-24 only 4-5 companies visited and in CSE only 2 are offered from 30 students amd rest 28 are still waiting like appprox all the students gets placement but the minimum packages I have seen is 1.1 LPA which is so less.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is ?37,500 per semester for me and hostel charges are ?2,250 and fooding is ?140 per day. But at this cost also I am not getting a normal facilities also , like at my time hostel doesn't have wifi also and I am from different state so I don't get a single scholarship. And college never gives any internship or neither helps in this process
Campus Life :
Annual fest and tech fest are good. And the college has a book bank , they will give the students but the books are so old not as per our syllabus. And my classroom is like a carpenter shop and After new principal our all extra co-ciricular activites are stopped. There is Only a green club Which is organised and helped by switch on foundation.
Hostel Facilities :
Pathetic life at colege hostel like it is between a village , and at the rainy season , the toilets are filled with snakes and the normal facilities like wardrobe , mattress are not provided by the college hostel , and I am not going to talk about hostel food because I don't like that. I have taken a personal room and live in that and the locality is also Good.
Interview Experience :
No I was taken a direct admission and as per west bengal students have take admission as per there WBJEE Ranks and all admissions depends on WBJEE and their is no interview session for me , as I have taken late admission and in last.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
Review of my collage
Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
