- Some teachers in that college are very supportive, Frank , helpful. They are eager to solve every problem of their students
- In the college campus every student can feel safety. College management always priotize safety of their students.
Dislikes
- There are shortage of classrooms, sometimes there are no rooms free , for that issue we have to take our regular class in our lab . Inspite of complaining this issue no action takes place by the college management
- In lab basis subject, which contains a lot of lab work that got effected for not having proper lab structure and there are alot of lab chemicals vanished
Remarks :
I was selected for that college by the marks I got in class 12th, there is a particular cutoff ( which changes every year), and if uh cross that then uh can be admitted to that college. Every college has its good and bad sides. In my college there are many helpful teachers, some teachers r very cooperative. Any student can freely share any kind of problem with them and get instant solutions. Various kinds of programs held in my college regularly, and colleges use to keep an eye on the personal development of students. As with every other thing, there are some bad sides also like those subjects which r laboratory basis affected in studies. In that particular college laboratory is in a very bad situation. Some of the important chemicals r not there, which has a really bad impact on students. As a women's college, there is good safety. Now I come to the admission process, if you cross the particular cut-off and can make your name on the list then uh have to submit the documents. Done
Course Curriculum Overview :
From starting I have a huge passion for my subject that's why I chose this course. Every faculty is well educated they have their PhD degree. Some teachers r passionate about teaching, and teachers conduct classes every month, which improves the confidence of every student. And teachers used to give students the appropriate feedback. There are a bit higher college fees than other colleges. Every semester college administration used to charge a very high amount of money and universities charge a comparable high semester fee. Which can be problematic for many students. And fee concession process was very bad. In my college life, I never got this opportunity. If I come to a scholarship, there is a rule that one student can avail of only one scholarship. Despite being eligible for many scholarships, a student can only avail only one scholarship. Which is a bit financial issue for students
Campus Life :
In November or December, a fest held by our college is a very enjoyable and enthusiastic fest. If I come to library facilities so there is a library which is the most peaceful and hygienic place in the college. On college campuses, many extracurricular activities are held which can improve students' personal growth. There is a canteen on the college campus, but most of the that is lack of food. And the quality of accessible food is not very good. This college doesn't provide a hostel to their students. Out-of-town students have to rent a PG in a college locality.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
