- Our college has great infrastructure. The part I love most about my college is the greenery and the canteen. I love the crowd as well. You can join various cultural societies. The faculty is really helpful and the security in our college is really good.
- The professors are well qualified. Most of them have pursued there Masters from JNU. Also the college offers 50% reservation for Christian Minority women.
Dislikes
- The part I don't like about my college is that it does not provide any hostel facilities.
- The classrooms are not well organised and conjusted.
Remarks :
To get admission to Jesus and Mary College, you have to give CUET. The college is allotted by Delhi University based on cutoffs. The college has an amazing faculty and infrastructure. My seniors and my professors are amazing and very helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college fees for the first year is just 20000 which I feel is very affordable. I chose Sociology as my subject because of my interests. My department professors are well qualified and if you also want to pursue Sociology you should consider JMC as an option.
Internships Opportunities :
I got an internship in Social Media marketing. It was a great experience as it was my first internship. We were given 4 tasks related to the social media promotion of an NGO and fundraising. I was also hired as a content writing intern.
Placement Experience :
The placement cell of our college is average. Honestly, I am not very aware of the placement cell as I will most probably pursue Master's after my UG. However the college offers great internship programs and seminars related to UPSC and MBA.
Campus Life :
The thing I dislike about my college is that there are no hostel facilities, I am staying in a PG near my college. The Annual Cultural Fest of JMC is MONTAGE. It happens every year during the even semesters.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
