- College has s very good campus, greenery everywhere. Very clean campus.
- 24/7 water and electricity supply is available. Wifi facility is available through out the campus. Good vehicle parking area for both students and faculties.
Dislikes
- The thing that i dislike the most is the faculties, not all but many of them do partiality, have ego problem and absolutely not helpful in any terms. And aslo teach in very unprofessional way.
- Secondly the canteen food, the quality and variety is good and more, but the price for each is too much.
Remarks :
Well for sure the campus have greenery and cleanliness is up to the mark. Infrastructure is also very good like in science, paramedical, and engineering. However, the teachers are not so professional and a few are narrow-minded and not helpful which i came to know after taking admission. As I belong to Tripura state, my state conducts an exam named TBJEE, and throw it, I got a scholarship seat in AdtU, and also my 5th and 6th semester fees get weboff.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course has a vast scope in fields like agriculture, pharmaceutical, chemical industries, and many more. Here exams are conducted on a semester basis and the difficulty level is mediocre. I'm also a beneficiary of the NSP POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP.
Internships Opportunities :
I personally have attended any internship so far but the stipend is subjected to the company's policy. Many types of internships are there and a few were paid internship that student have to pay for the terms .
Placement Experience :
Placements are done by the campus placement cell every year. Different companies like Wipro, Marico, Tata Consultancy, Amazon, Mahindra, etc come to hire students in the PAN India scheme and take them either as freshers or as trainees. The average package is 2.5 lakh per annum to 10 lakh per annum. And every year out of all the final year students of different programs get 52% of placement.
Campus Life :
The campus is really fun. We have "Attitude" our annual fest which occurs generally at month of end February. The Campus has a library which almost contains all necessary resources required and a computer facility to aquire more from internet data base. Sports like badminton, basketball, football, and cricket have their separate fields and a gym is also available with a swimming pool. Social groups are there like drama group, dance group, singing group, gamming group and so on. We have our own Social media website named AdtU a-connect where we can make new friends, post photos, chats and have fun. Hostel facility is available for both boys and girls. Building infrastructure is good, 24/7 water and electricity supply is there. Hostels have Washing machines and wifi.

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

Dream Campus, Not-So-Dream Jobs

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
