- Placement, internship, boys hostel rooms are not that much good. Not maximum teachers are good. Extreme Lack of practical classes.
Remarks :
Good side- At first its a government college for that the total course fee will be minimal,some teachers are really good & talented,they helped very much in study, both boys & girl's( 2-3 year ago start) hostel is present.Environment is really good. Bad Side- most of the teacher are not good at all, placement & internship sector is very very much poor. Lack of practicle classes. Assignment numbers are depends on teacher's mood.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I think that as it is a govt. College so placement will be good, in that reason i choose this college. Teaching quality is average, some teachers are good, All term end exams are completed on time to time. Fees are very much low compair to the private colleges. 1-2 scholarship are present at my time.
Internships Opportunities :
No internship happened to any department students. We Approach & request our TIC & subject teachers for conducting internship programme but evey time they refused us. For lack of internship its effect our CV as well as career opportunities.
Placement Experience :
In my college placement & internship sector is very very much poor. I completed my electrical course in 2019, Only one company is giving campus placement but only for civil candidates. Job opportunities are very low, In my year only few civil candidates take campus placement although they give only 11000 monthly package & job location is outside bengal.
Campus Life :
My friends are stayed in hostel, they told me that hostel food was good but boys hostel room are bad because they are very old. Although latest 2-3 years ago new girls hostel is open. Registration process of hostel & any other things is simple & good. Student council (student union) is present there and the members are very good towards students. No sports & extracurricular activities held. Library is present so no problem for books at all. Freshers party is also happened every year for new candidates.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
