- College has a good green surrounding with blooming beautiful flowers which makes a sign of peaceful learning with good faculty.
- College life was a better experience for me . Making new friends from different backgrounds of people and meeting them learning new things and sharing good thoughts.
Remarks :
Things during the pandemic were intentionally not that normal and choosing a better college was a big task being from West Bengal made it easy to feel free to inspect and get admission to the college. The college conducts the test for the newly admitted candidate and an interview process with highly appreciated teachers.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Since during my school days, I was an average student with a bright mind, I thought of doing a well-established course in college and I opted for a bachelor's in business administration as my undergraduate degree. This was a very new chapter for me and I came from a commerce background made it easy and simple to understand the concept of business management. The teachers in the college are all well-professionals with good knowledge of teaching and aptitude, I feel lucky to have a bunch of good teaching environments in the college. The exams conducted in the college are high level with a good environment, it is a moderate level need to study to pass that' it as simple. Being one of the most profound colleges in North Bengal Salesian college serves as a mode of professional education experience with a good environment as it is a Christian/missionary institute. The fee structure is a hike now being the autonomous campus it has increased in its' teaching environment.
Campus Life :
being a very enthusiastic person in sports and extracurricular activities I feel college has exposure for all the talented students in different fields of activities such as sports, singing, dancing, and many more. My life was a beautiful one in the college surrounded by a bunch of talented seniors and lovely juniors. The biggest North Bengal fest conducted in the college know as "INNOVISION" attracts all the youths from the city to enjoy and showcase their talents in different fields at the state level. The college also conducts football, volleyball, and basketball tournaments in the college as it a a good facility for sports. The college students for sports activities are divided into different clubs. The club activities are done with enthusiasm and interest. College is a lot of fun and enjoyment on the other side with academic pressure and exams too. College life is amazing when you have good friends surrounded by your side where you stay together too

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
