Remarks :
I got that college by WBJEE Counselling, its cut-off varies from 30000 to 40000. After that, I went to this college and they verified my rank card and all documents. Then they gave me a short introduction to this college and showed me the full then. Then I filled out all the forms for admission. The admission cell is very polite.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose B.tech CSE because I found interest in coding and problem-solving. Also, technology is booming nowadays. Most of the faculties are IISc, NIT, and Jadavpur University, and they are very friendly in nature and helpful. We have 8 semesters in 4 years duration of 6 months. my total tuition fee is 377000 Rs which is reasonable in 2024.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I am a 1st year student so I can't get an internship. Our college provides many internship opportunities with stipends from 0 to 15000 in many governments and private sectors. Also, you can get a preplacement offer for that internship.
Placement Experience :
If you are skilled enough and have CGPA above 6.5 then you can sit for placement. TCS, Wipro, Accenture, RTCamp, and EY visit campus for placement and internship. Every year almost 80% of students are placed.
Campus Life :
We have the cultural fest ULLAS which is generally conducted at the end of May. We have a total of 38960 books and many journals in our library. Also, we have a smartboard in our classes. Also every year our college conducts a sport named Sportvito, where we can show our potential in sports. Our college has Google Developers Students Group for technical knowledge which is run by our respected seniors. The hostel is also like another college with the same facilities and the food quality is good.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
