- Infrastructure is quite nice. It looks similar to Cannaught place.
- I would rate 3.5 out of 5 to the faculty of my college. As I mentioned above, most professors are good, but some are there only for the sake of teaching. They have nothing to do whatever the student is actually getting it or not.
Dislikes
- I don't like that the college is not in the main north campus region.
- The timetable for our course is very irregular, which is a problem
Remarks :
I chose this college because some YouTubers said that it is good for economics. Though it wasn't my first preference, I'm happy I got this. The only bad aspect is the level of strictness and being away from the main north campus. My cuet marks were 719/800. And I didn't attend any group discussions or interviews.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I didn't opt for any financial assistance. But my college and courses are quite good. Coming to the faculty part, some teachers are brilliant, but I've come across some who are just there for the sake of teaching and don't teach properly. The fees are higher than other DU colleges but it's quite affordable.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently, I'm working as a content writer. But I got it on my own, and not through college. I work from home. It is going to be 1.5 years since I joined this company. Plus, I've worked with multiple companies in the past. But, One of the sad parts about our college is that we're not given clear details about the opportunities offered by the college. So, it's better to find on our own.
Placement Experience :
The placement for Economics Hons is quite good though, but it's still less than that of other north campus colleges. But after completing my degree, I'm planning to prepare for civil servant exams. But I'm still unsure about it. If I complete the degree in 4 years, I'll probably go for master's in economics.
Campus Life :
Though I got the hostel, but I didn't accept it because of its high charges. It's very costly. About social life? Though I was a part of dramatics society, I didn't interact much. I like being on my own.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
