- One of the aspects I truly appreciate about my college is the faculty's expertise and unwavering support. At our law school, we have the privilege of learning from professors who are not only distinguished scholars but also seasoned practitioners in various fields of law. This combination of theoretical knowledge and practical insight makes our education deeply enriching. The professors frequently draw on their real-world experiences to provide us with case studies, anecdotes, and practical applications, which help to demystify complex legal concepts and make learning more engaging. Beyond the classroom, the support from our faculty is remarkable. They are approachable and genuinely invested in our success, offering mentorship that extends into our career planning and professional development. Their guidance has been invaluable in helping me navigate the demanding path of law school.
- Another aspect I cherish about my college is the diverse and engaged student community. Our law school attracts students from a myriad of backgrounds, cultures, and experiences, creating a rich and dynamic learning environment. This diversity fosters meaningful discussions and debates, allowing us to broaden our perspectives on various legal issues and prepare for the diverse nature of the legal profession. The level of engagement within our student community is also something I greatly value. Our college offers numerous student organizations, moot court competitions, law journals, and pro bono opportunities that provide practical experiences and enhance our learning. Participating in these activities has not only helped me apply my knowledge and skills in real-world settings but also enabled me to form strong bonds with my peers.
Dislikes
- One aspect I dislike about my college is the overwhelming workload and associated stress. The rigorous demands of law school can sometimes feel excessive, with continuous assessments, extensive readings, and tight deadlines. This intense workload often leaves little room for personal time or relaxation, leading to burnout and significant stress. While I understand that the legal field is demanding and that rigorous training is essential, the sheer volume of work can be overwhelming. It can be challenging to maintain a healthy work-life balance, and the constant pressure to perform well can be mentally exhausting. I believe a more balanced approach to workload and support for student well-being could enhance the overall experience and help students manage their responsibilities more effectively.
- Another aspect I dislike about my college is the overly competitive environment. While some level of competition can be motivating, the extreme competitiveness here often fosters a stressful and sometimes hostile atmosphere. Students may feel pressured to outperform their peers rather than collaborate and support each other. This environment can detract from the sense of community and shared learning that is crucial for a fulfilling educational experience. Encouraging a more collaborative and supportive culture, where students are motivated to succeed together rather than at the expense of one another, would greatly improve the overall atmosphere and student well-being.
Remarks :
It's one of the best law colleges in the country and provides a wide range of opportunities. The admission was based on a three-stage entrance test called SLAT, involving objective-based questions, an essay writing test, and an interview round. I prepared using online resources available and mock tests.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the course considering the curriculum they provide, and the various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities the college organizes. Most of the professors have either completed their doctorate or the remaining are pursuing it. Teaching methods are different for each professor, some teach through PPTs and some use interactive teaching methods. External exams are held twice a year, and 2 internals for each subject per semester. The level of difficulty is medium.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I have interned with a district court lawyer and an NGO. Given tasks related to drafting, legal work, observing court proceedings, etc. Various internships including Court Internships, Corporate internships, NGO internships, interning in-house, with political parties, and high positions in the executive, legislative, and judicial offices, are available.
Placement Experience :
For law, If your CGPA is more than 8, you have a chance of getting a good job. Apart, from that, if you have been an active part of the co-curricular activities, that could provide you an edge while securing jobs. Some of the recruiters include Khaitan and Co., Amarchand and Mangaldas, etc.
Campus Life :
One main college fest is conducted every year called Symbhav, which is generally a three-day fest. It's normally conducted in April/ March. The library has a wide range of books, of majorly all the law subjects. Classrooms have smart boards, podiums, and fans and we'll maintain seating arrangements. There is a moot court hall and a PDCLE hall. Various sports options including badminton, tennis, football, etc. are available and other extracurricular activities include dance, singing, theatre, etc. There are various student clubs and committees, dedicated to various legal, environmental, and animal-related causes. The quality of food in hostels is excellent, the rooms are well-maintained and are cleaned on a daily basis. The mess menu is very diverse. Hostel registration is done after the final selection and the allotment is not based on the rank/marks scored. Several PGs are also available in the locality.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Average college provide average facilities

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
