THE ADDMISSION PROCESS AT OUR COLLEGE IS TO GET SELECTED IN THE EXAM OF JEXPO. After the 10th, anyone can apply for this course and then get selected through the selling process. THE EXAM HELD BY WBSCTE IN THE MONTH OF JUNE-JULY AND THER CLSSES STARTS FROM THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER.
Course Curriculum Overview :
THE FACULTY MEMBERS ARE VERY HELPFUL AND COOPERATIVE IN THE MANNER OF TEACHING, DOUGHT SOLVING, AND ALL. They will prepare us through our OUR, and they will also prepare us to deal with our future work presentations and industrial problems. THE COURSE CURRICULUM IS WELL STRUCTURED, WHICH MAKES A STUDENT INDUSTRY READY. The semester exams are not very difficult, but they vary depending on the student.
Internships Opportunities :
In our course, the highest package offered is 8 lakhs per annum, the lowest is 3.6 lakhs per annum, and the average package stands at 5 lakhs. The top recruiting companies in our college are Siemens, Schneider Electric, Tata Power, etc. Nearly 70% of students secured internships at the same companies. They also get stipends from these companies.
Placement Experience :
About 70% of students get placements in companies like Siemens, Thought Works, Wipro, Blue Star, and so on. They get placements in terms of packages like 5.3 LPA and more. They Got The Highest Package Of This Year In Thought Works As An Analytics Of Package Of 6.4 Lpa ' My seniors also get 3.2 LPA in royal research. They play the job roles of an analyst, an assistant software engineer, a backend developer, etc. Students also get internships in these companies on their own; they also earn stipends from these internships.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our college is government-aided, so the fees are very minimum, as 22,000 INR is more than enough for the whole course. Students can also avail of scholarships at Svmcm, Oasis, and Pragati if they're eligible to meet the scholarship criteria.
Campus Life :
OUR COLLEGE, THE APC RAY POLYTECHNIC, HAS HIS OWN WIFI CONNECTIVITY ALL OVER THE CAMPUS. IN OUR BRANCH, WE HAVE 2 SEPARATE CLASSROOMS AND 1 COMPUTER LAB WITH 1 ELECTRONIC LAB. OUR COLLEGE ALSO HAS A COMMON CANTEEN, LIBRARY, AND COLLEGE GROUND.
Hostel Facilities :
IN OUR COLLEGE, WE HAS 1 HOSTEL, BUT STUDENTS MAY ADJUST BY SHARING ROOM WITH TEIR BATCHMATES. SOMETIMES, STUDENTS HAVE TO WAIT FOR HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION. In our CANTEEN, students can get a variety of food at a reasonable price. IN THE COLLEGE GROUND, STUDENTS ALSO PLAY GAMES LIKE FOOTBALL, CRICKET, VOLLEY, ETC. There is also a common room where students can play cards and carrom if they want to.
Interview Experience :
YES , STUDENTS HAS TO QUALIFY IN THE EXAM HELD BY WBSCE . THEN THE STUDENT GIOT CHACE, ACCORING TO THE RANK IN THE EXAM. THEN A COUNSELLING PROCESS STARTS. AND STUDENTS GET CHANCE IN THE COLLEGES HE/SHE GOT SELECTED. APC Roy Polytechnic is one of them.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
