- There isn't much places for recreation but you can get n number of those places in Kolkata which is just 1.5 hrs away
Remarks :
The distance from Kolkata and connectivity, the beautiful infrastructure with up-to-date labs and facilities, the huge patient load in the hospital, and the increased personal attention and opportunities due to the few number of students as compared to 250 were the criteria that made me choose this college. I had given NEET UG 2021 & got AIR 15745 to get this seat through the AIQ-Gen Category.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The academic is very good since the beginning of the first year. Anatomy is one of the best departments of our college with beautiful museums, cadavers, histology labs etc. The department tends to make the subject easy for the students and can be understood by the result. This year only there were around 35+ Honours given in the Third proff Part1 university exam and 10+ in the Second proof which reflects the academics here. You get very good clinical exposure with a huge patient load. The visit to OPDS clinics and OTs starts for the second year only. The fees are very mandatory, especially for the hostel it's only? 20 per month with huge three seater rooms along with Godrej bed, study table chair, cupboards and 24-hour water and electricity.
Internships Opportunities :
As stated earlier there aren't any direct placement offers but an internship provides one of the highest stipends in the country as that of AIIMS level. Also, the best thing is that there is no bond service so you can immediately opt for PG
Placement Experience :
Since this is the MBBS course hence there aren't any college placements. But there are around 70+ seats in Housestaffship immediately after the internship which is selected based on interview. The stipend for the internship is around? 31000 rs per month.
Campus Life :
We have an annual 3-day fest named Diamante which happens in December. We have had many artists like Nikita Gandhi, TRAP band etc in that. Also, there are separate clubs for various activities which organise many events both intra-college and intercollege. Other than this we also have Freshers that is Novato Fiesta, Saraswati Puja, Iftaar party, Rabindra Jayanti etc celebrated very enthusiastically every year. A hostel room is allotted to every student during the admission process. It's very affordable. There's a canteen system in that. We have three canteens in total, girls boys and one common academic canteen. It provides a variety of food at affordable rates. There are many PGs and rented rooms available in very close proximity to the college campus with good food and lodging facilities.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
