- I love the infrastructure for our department specially and the practical knowledge of the course.
- The campus life is very fun and provides extra curricular opportunities.
Dislikes
- The drinking water quality is not good at all.
- The faculty is not upto the mark due to influence of political reasons
Remarks :
The curriculum of the course is upto the mark and so is the infrastructure. To get admission I appeared for CUET-UG for which especially for this course the cut-off went 350 as for preparation most of the syllabus is the same as ur 12th class syllabus.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as it provides a vast variety of work in future. The faculty members are mostly upto the mark except for some who have been selected due to political reasons. The teaching approach is mostly practical and PowerPoint-based. The term exams are held from time to time and if you attend classes regularly difficulty level is not much. The fees are very high even though it’s a self-financed course.
Internships Opportunities :
The college provides internship opportunities with foundations like J.E.E.T, Du beat etc. but they do not provide a stipend it usually provides an LOR some certificates of merit and experience etc. but at times there can be paid internships as well but it varies from course to course.
Placement Experience :
A student must be very active in college and should have a good cgpa to get a placement offer from the college. But yes the placements are very less and are provided very rarely by the college so the students need to look out for themselves.
Campus Life :
The annual fest named Shruti is conducted in the month of march and April usually. The library contains all the required books as per the course requirements. Annual sports meet is held and yes inter-college sports events are held now and then. The college clubs are very active, especially the drama, the Indian and western dance societies and the fashion (unofficial) society are pretty active in inter-collaboration participation and activities. Then there are department fests of every individual department.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
