- Environment: The atmosphere is perfect for students to grow and learn.
- Faculty: The professors are very friendly and they try their best to make you a better person.
Dislikes
- Internship Opportunities: No outside internships were available/provided.
- Support for JELET aspirants: The efforts to encourage students to opt for higher studies was not shown very clearly.
Remarks :
Good Aspects : 1. Excellent Faculty: Professors and all the Maharaj are super nice. They provide guidance both academically and sometimes personally. 2. Environment: I doubt any other college in India would provide such an environment for the students. 3. Attendance System: Students may complain about the attendance criteria but it's for their benefit only as students will develop good habits of punctuality. Bad Aspects: The only bad aspect that I have faced is that sometimes (initially) the professors don't appreciate that you are applying for higher studies rather than opting for a job. But later(in 3rd year), I faced good support from my professor for my JELET exam. Admission Process: Apply for JEXPO and get a rank(less than 6K for ETCE, which may change in coming years) for counselling. Previously it used to take by SAT exam. Preparation: School-level preparation of class 10 standards will prepare you for JEXPO.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Why Did I Chose This Course: I chose ETCE because of my interest in electronics. I could have chosen electrical too but I wanted to study telecommunications as well. I have planned to opt for BTech in ECE or ETCE after my diploma, the transition would be better for me rather taking an Electrical diploma or any other branches. Qualifications of Faculty: They are highly qualified in their fields with M.E/MTech and PhDs. Frequency of exam conductions: Every week we had to give some sort of exam and there were major two internals of full marks of 20 each and one-semester exam. The difficulty level was quite easy. Fees Hikes: Non. Cost to study: If you stay very far, you may make up a mess. Mess prices are on the lower sides only. Less than 2000 per month. Adding up the total tuition fees for college i.e. approx 100000, your total cost to study in RKMS would be less than 2lakhs.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships: At my time only internships we got were from the college itself(unpaid). They provided certificates of completion on internships. Project of internships: Variable power supply, and Electric Vehicle.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placements: From 3 years students are eligible for placements if they maintain a desired industry readiness and subject knowledge. Yes, they used to rate students based on these factors. But don't worry there were very few students who were having low points. If you do well or decent in your studies and have good behaviour it's enough. Even we, who were preparing for JELET got very good ratings on industry readiness. Recruiters: People doing jobs after a diploma from RKMS may tell this better. I am currently a student at JU doing B.E. But still, I can remember Addverb technologies, Normet, Amazon, TATA, L&T and many more. Offers: (For ETCE) Highest: 4LPA, average: 3LPA. Almost 100% of the eligible students got placed. My plan after my Diploma is to opt for JELET secure a rank under 30 and get an IEE at Jadavpur University.
Campus Life :
Fest: Non. Sorry, you will not be getting any fest in here. If your wish is to enjoy college life, this is not the place. This is the place where you will be studying and getting a job or preparing for JELET and other exams. Library: It has huge collections of books but sad that you cannot roam around and take up any book of your choice. The faculty will make a list of the necessary books for a semester and they will allocate the books to you. Extracurricular activities: Playground will be available to you after 5 pm. And there is a room where you will get a carrom and table tennis, that's also from 5 pm to 6 pm only. I would suggest to involved in playing whatever is available and keeping your health good. I used to play table tennis every day with my friends and it was a happy time for me. Also, I used to play cricket and football too. Social Groups: None. Hostel: Not available. Only some nearby mess.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
