- The only thing about this college is that this college gets you the degree of Punjab University that's it.
- No campus life this college is very small that too out side the city soo no campus life.
Dislikes
- Most dislike is staff and then management they both sucks a lot.
- Very small campus just like anyones garden area is the full campus size.
Remarks :
It's a government college with a Punjab University degree, this is the only reason students are admitted here. You can get here admission by jee mains exam only no other exam ya you can also get admission in 2nd year by Puneet exam conducted by Punjab University.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is as old as of other colleges, exams are taken on time. There are a few scholarships provided by the University which you can avail of by submitting documents to the university by the time of admission, the rest all are normal like another govt college with fees of 1.2 lakh each year.
Internships Opportunities :
No internship opportunities are provided even though you get an internship they will not allow you to do that internship and not only this if you get absent they will get you a back year as well so you have to take care of this too.
Placement Experience :
Placement was good previously but now it has degraded too much such that only few companies came this year like 3 or 4 and which gave a total of 12 offers whole. So by this, you got the idea of placement here.
Campus Life :
There is no social life in college you just have to study, and prepare for exams or you may pass the time like many here. Hostels are available but they are too much dirty with too very less seats in a hostel, you have to go with pg's around the college.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
