- There is no pressure of attending classes.
- One can easily pass in exams by studying just 1 day before exam.
Dislikes
- Old furniture in class room and poor hostel facility.
- Sports facilities are very less. There are grounds and courts but they don't give equipments to play.
Remarks :
You need to take Jee Mains exams and then register through JAC Chandigarh counselling. There are two branches of this college one is in Chandigarh and one is in Hoshiarpur. If your rank is around 1-2 lac then you can easily get a cs branch.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is good as it Matches that of IITs and the faculties are good and supportive there are so many scholarships for students like ews, single parent child, state scholarships and more.
Internships Opportunities :
There are no internship opportunities given from the college side. I also got an internship from Internshala by myself. You need to get an internship by yourself only. No companies come to provide placements in College.
Placement Experience :
A few companies visited the college during my placement session but most of them didn't select any of the students from our college. After 2-3 rounds of interviews, they reject all the candidates. Only 17 students out of 200 got placed.
Campus Life :
The campus life is good here as there's no pressure to study and no restrictions from the college or hostel authority. You can roam around on campus any time and can go out of the campus whenever you want. There are social clubs like drama, dance, singing etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality and taste are really good in the government hostel. Also, it's very affordable. The price of 1-time meal is just rs. 40 and only the top 10 students from each branch got the hotel on double sharing basis

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
