- Infrastructure like lift,and labs 4 toilet.
- Campus is big so we can play cricket,badminton and all the playing equipment provided by the college.
Dislikes
- The mouse disliked thing is drinking water is not available properly.
Remarks :
This is a government college, admission will be taken by Jexpo exam, all teachers are highly qualified, great behaviour. Big campus, big ground, holds a variety of sports every year, and internship companies also come to this college. The placement process and the company's also good, not a high salary but an average salary every one can get a job easily.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In this college we are offered 3 courses IT, CST, ME In 1st and 2nd semester all three-course subjects are the same, then in 3rd semester IT, and CST have the same subject, and mechanical has other subjects. In every 2 semesters, there's a HOD who manages the students in those semesters.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, you've to submit an internship certificate in 3rd semester, so a company called Math Coders is working with our college, in this internship program I've learned AI robotics. Math coders all programs are about robotics.
Placement Experience :
Placements are good when you're in the 5th sem then the interview is started, if you get a job you can simply complete your course then you can join that company, every year maximum numberstudents gets placed. Like in Kolkata.
Campus Life :
Our college campus is big, there is a boys' common room and a girls' common room, in the boy's common room we play carrom, and chess for fun in our free time. Talking about infrastructure our campus looks like an English letter There are two main gates and in front of every gate, you can take a lift along with stairs. This building is 3 3-story' building, there are 2 computer labs, and one chemistry lab, and all the labs are full of equipment.
Hostel Facilities :
Our college doesn't provide a hostel, though we have to stay in a mess or rent a house. My mess is 4 km away from college. In this area called (master para& baliadanga) All mess is very affordable like 500-3000. Talking about food food quality is poor in this area so it's good that you make the food yourself.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
