Likes
- The faculty members has make a balanced with the everyone including the students and their parents with a very gentle and humble behavior.
- The campus life is environment friendly zone which is surrounded by greenery by making it a friendly zone for the students.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the college should be more modernized according to the needs of their respective students.
- The campus area should also be ragging free for each one of them so that they can enjoy their college life properly.
Remarks :
Firstly for the eligibility of our courses we have to complete our 10th and 12th exams then we have to fill up the admission form then we have to take a small entrance exam so that we can be eligible for our courses, so that we can get our admission. As it is a government-based college that's why we didn't have to worry about our entrance exam. As it will be easy as always.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Firstly for my extra higher education, I wanted to complete first my BA degree then I will do any further higher education. So through this thinking, I choose to study BA in our college. With that, the fee structure is usually affordable for every poor and middle-class family and also there is some scholarship method of our last semester.
Internships Opportunities :
Usually, there will be projects and presentations in every course in every semester and also for some of the brilliant students for if we say some of the students who are eligible for the internship process the college will give them the fruitful opportunities that are available with their college.
Placement Experience :
Honestly, there is no such placement for job opportunities are there in our college but for the few number of students the college faculty members sometimes organise placement opportunities where are lot of various company holders come and visit the college for the recruitment of our job. The highest package is about 24 lacs per annum and the lowest package is up to 2 lacs per annum. And my plan after getting the degree is to study more and complete my higher education.
Campus Life :
The college campus is usually a friendly zone where there is no differentiation between co-workers and students. The social life and the clubs are usually conducted by the senior students like fresher's party, farewell party etc. even though the best part of the college is the library department where the entire library is surrounded by journals magazines, newspapers and various kinds of books and also for the students help the student committee organize a student union team.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel charger as well as also affordable for the students but if we look closely towards it the food quality of the hostel is not as expected. With that registration process for the hostel indeed requires the permission and the documents of both parents and students to make it affordable for them and also if we want to rent a room or PG same the locality of the school office.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
