NM college: some pros, one con
Likes
- Being centrally aur conditioned, the college is extremely convenient to be at during summers
- The faculty helps the students conduct research, write and even present research papers.
Dislikes
- The attendance rule is followed by almost all faculties.
- The exams are generally difficult and too application based, so students should also be aware of current affairs.
Remarks :
There were no Group Discussions or Interviews for admission into the college. It was purely merit-based. For a Bachelor of Commerce degree, it was based on the score of the candidate in 12th grade. It was one of the best colleges for any commerce degree in Mumbai. The faculty is amazing and extremely knowledgeable. Also, the curriculum designed is almost always up-to-date, and the assignments to be submitted during the semesters are generally used as a tool to make students aware of current market requirements
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty has vast knowledge of their respective subjects, and are very approachable. The course curriculum has been updated regularly. Exams are moderately difficult and application-based. All subjects are taught in a manner, which facilitates students to correlate each aspect of every subject.
Placement Experience :
Placements are offered by the training and placement cell of the college, aka T&P cell. The T&P cell organises training, speaker sessions, and seminars and brings in internship opportunities, and job opportunities as well
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year 1: ~11000 Year 2: ~ 12000 Year 3: ~ 13000 There is no quota concerning fees for a Bachelor Of Commerce degree in N M College. So the fees for all the students are the same. The fees would likely increase due to the introduction of NEP
Campus Life :
The library has an amazing collection of books and the management of the library is accessible to everyone. There are numerous clubs, societies, and committees. The college has centralised air conditioning and you'll have some of the smartest classmates ever

Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.
The Time I Had Spent in my College

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
