- All the classrooms , library, Communication labs , computer lab are fully air conditioned and are equipped with latest technologies and machines .
- The faculty members are very friendly and always tries to help you in need.
Dislikes
- Canteen is very bad, food quality and price of the food doesnt make any sense. The food is too oily.
- College infrastructure is good everything is good but only thing that i disliked is the college doesnot have its own canteen , if we have to purchase any food we have to buy it from the school's canteen and which have the pricing and food quality issues.
Remarks :
I choose this college for a bachelor of business administration as it has good reviews about the faculties and infrastructure and the fee structure is also good, the entire college has good facilities, If you want to get admission to bits kol for bba you need to sit for cet common entrance exam and have at least 50-60% marks in 12, then sit for an interview round and get yourself admitted.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose BBA to get exposure in the market and learn about business management, the faculties are friendly, they will teach you personally if you are having problems in understanding, the faculties are well qualified and there are 4 internal exams ca 1 ca2 ca 3 and ca 4 and at the end of each semester final exam.
Placement Experience :
Placement BBA (Bachelor of BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION) is very hard to get, you need to work extremely hard to get placement, tho you will easily get placement if you complete MBA from bins Kolkata, good companies like Tata and Kotak, Berger, ITC, zomato, bank of Baroda, icici, bajaj and many more companies comes for hiring, maximum package offer is 10 LPA approx
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college fee structure for a Bachelor of business administration i.e. BBA is just 2,70,000 for 3 years, it's very affordable compared to other colleges and bims kolkata tries to give better facilities than other colleges in this fee structure.
Campus Life :
Bims Kolkata have a vast collection of books in the library, you don't have to buy study books or anything, every book is available in the library. Each year between April -may college's annual fest is named 'IGNACIA', and around 50+ colleges come and take part in it.
Hostel Facilities :
Our college does not provide hostel facilities, tho you can book PG or rent rooms, rooms are available outside the campus you need to find those rooms because the college has nothing to do with room rent or hostel facility, Canteen food is not that good, very less amount of food items available, very oily and pricy.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
