Remarks :
Well, I heard about this college on social media & some of my teachers that, this ND college is the best in Howrah, for pursuing English Hons. No, the admission process is based on a merit system, a 12TH board result-based admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have a passion for English Literature, so I just chose this course, I love English literature very much and want to study this subject very much. Faculty are very good as well as every professor is Good at teaching also.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I've completed an internship at Mayukhardo. I'm from the English Dept so I've worked as a Content Writer in Mayukhardo company for an internship. Good knowledge was provided by Mayukh sir at the internship time.
Placement Experience :
It's a general college so there are no placement surety. But you can take advice from dept as well as the college office about your career. Also, you can study MA in English at this college as well. Good college overall.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are two semesters in an academic year for payment, 1st of all admission payment, the 1st sem tuition fees payment, then examination fees, then 2nd sem tuition payment, and the last 2nd sem examination fees.
Campus Life :
There are many books for everyone in the college's library. Ac in our English Dept. There are several cultural programs in this college in a year. Sports activities are also held on the college's grounds. There are a gymnasium also for students' fitness.
Hostel Facilities :
No hostel. The college has no hostel, if want to stay nearby. You can search for a rented room or apartment for living. By the way, the college officially has no hostel after all. So that's it. You can live another if you want.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
