It was an IIT and moreover was near to my home and the branch I chose has one of the best infrastructure in the country including newer labs and foreign MOUs and also I have JEE mains followed by advanced to secure the admission
Course curriculum is written modern with newer courses which are not yet there in other colleges and the faculty is quite knowledgeable and helpful if you wanna join them in their research projects and the exams level we have is usually medium to tough
I interned at ecozen solution pune and I was offered role of mechanical design intern and the duration for the internship was of 2 months and I received around 25k monthly as stipend . Mostly companies prefer to chose candidates who have done projects in their domain
The internships and placements are what you expect from an IIT to be like, we have every company coming from likes of Google sprinklr de shaw to Dassault systems . Eligibility criteria of each company is different but it's usually based on cgpa and mostly 70 80 percent get offers . Highest package domestic goes to 80 lpa and median is around 20.
We are paying usually 117350 per semester for tuition and 25000 for mess and hostel for a sem and it is usually for 5 lpa+ income ones . For less than 5 lpa , tuition fees is just 40k and for below 1 lpa , it's 7k .
We have our annual fest , Zeitgeist in November followed by aditiya our tech fest in February and then our sports fest in March. We have a separate library for the board of literary affairs and classroom have AC and projectors . We have a cricket ground, hockey ground , football ground, athletic track and lawn tennis courts alongside volleyball and basketball courts . It is quite fun . We have clubs for both cultural and technical side and also literary affairs.
Food quality is mid, not so good but not so bad South people face problem with their food as rice is not of that great quality . Hostel is quite nice and modern and fees for hostel is very low, just 3k per semester and it has everything from daily cleaning to geysers.
if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
