IFHE Hyderabad Admission Dates 2026

Each of IFHE's five schools manages admission separately. The 2026-27 cycle is active for B.Tech, BBA, integrated law, B.Arch, M.Tech, M.Sc, LLM, and PhD programmes, with late spot rounds underway where applicable. IBS has already enrolled its 2026-28 MBA batch. Admission activity for the MBA batch of 2027-29 follows the IBSAT 2026 cycle.

Selection routes differ by programme. B.Tech applications may use JEE Main, CUET UG, or IFHE's test. Integrated law admission considers CLAT, CUET UG, and LSAT-India, while B.Arch applicants need NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 scores. CAT, XAT, GMAT, and NMAT scores are also considered for the IBS MBA alongside IBSAT, subject to the required cutoffs.

IFHE Hyderabad Courses and Fees

More than 40 programmes are offered through IFHE's five schools. The amounts below are the total fees for the stated programme duration.

The MBA is IBS's main programme and combines a total fee of INR 17.15 Lakhs with AACSB accreditation and a 46th-place NIRF Management ranking in 2025. Nine B.Tech specialisations are available for INR 11.70 Lakhs, including AI and Data Science, Cyber Security, and Cloud Computing. Working professionals can pursue the flexibly scheduled EMBA for INR 6.10 Lakhs.

IFHE Hyderabad Admission Process

Admission rules are set by the school offering the programme. MBA selection uses accepted management entrance scores and a later selection stage. Undergraduate engineering, business, law, architecture, commerce, science, and computer application programmes use the relevant national exam or IFHE entrance route.

1. Choose a programme and confirm its academic eligibility requirements.
2. Take the entrance examination accepted for that course, such as IBSAT, CAT, JEE Main, CUET, CLAT, LSAT-India, NATA, or an ICFAI test.
3. Submit the programme application with the relevant entrance score.
4. Complete any course-specific selection stage. MBA applicants who are shortlisted must attend S-TPIS.
5. Finish admission formalities after receiving a selection decision.

IBS MBA Admission

A bachelor's degree in any subject is required for MBA admission at IBS Hyderabad. The 2027-29 batch accepts IBSAT 2026 and valid CAT, XAT, NMAT, or GMAT scores.

• Entrance routes include IBSAT, CAT, XAT, GMAT, and NMAT.
• Entrance scores are used for shortlisting, after which applicants complete S-TPIS, which consists of a Selection Test, Personal Interview, and Statement of Purpose.
• Students may specialise in Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Information Technology, or Operations.

IBSAT is conducted specifically for admission to IBS. Its sections test Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Techniques, and Data Adequacy. Scores from the 2026 CAT and XAT cycles are also accepted directly for shortlisting.

BBA Admission at IBS

Applicants need at least 50% in Class 12 in any stream. This requirement applies to both the three-year BBA and the four-year BBA (Hons). Selection is based on CUET UG or the ICFAI entrance test.

• The available tracks are standard BBA, BBA in Cyber Security, and BBA in Data Science and AI.

B.Tech Admission at ICFAI Tech School

For B.Tech, students must complete Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and score at least 50%. The fee and eligibility are the same across all B.Tech specialisations.

• Scores from JEE Main, CUET UG, or the ICFAI entrance test are accepted.
• Diploma holders can seek lateral entry through the ICFAI lateral entrance test.
• Choices include CSE, CSE with AI and ML, AI and Data Science, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, ECE, VLSI Design, IoT, and Mechanical Engineering.

Law School Admission

BA LLB, BBA LLB, and BJ LLB applicants must have at least 45% in Class 12 from any stream. Admission to these integrated programmes is based on CLAT, CUET UG, or LSAT-India scores. The programmes are offered through IFHE's BCI-approved Law School.

Architecture and Sciences Admission

B.Arch applicants require 50% in Class 12 with PCM and a valid NATA 2026 or JEE Main Paper 2 score. Admission to B.Com, B.Sc, and BCA requires 50% in Class 12 in a relevant stream, followed by selection through CUET UG or the ICFAI entrance test.

IFHE Hyderabad Placements

Placement results are reported for IBS, ICFAI Tech, and ICFAI Law School. IBS has conducted MBA placements for more than two decades and is IFHE's strongest placement-performing school. It operates with IFHE's NAAC A++ institutional accreditation and its own AACSB accreditation.

The MBA Class of 2025 at IBS recorded a 93% placement rate. Its average CTC was INR 13.70 LPA, while the highest offer reached INR 21 LPA. For the 2024 B.Tech class, ICFAI Tech reported a 72% placement rate, an average of INR 6.1 LPA, and a highest offer of INR 46 LPA. At ICFAI Law School, the average and highest offers were INR 6.5 LPA and INR 12.2 LPA, respectively.

Financial services, consulting, IT, and FMCG are the main sectors recruiting IBS MBA graduates. ICFAI Tech students pursue positions in IT services, AI, and cloud infrastructure with national technology employers. Law graduates find roles with corporate law firms, courts, and in-house legal departments. IFHE's Hyderabad location also places students near the city's IT and pharmaceutical companies.

IFHE Hyderabad Rankings

IFHE appears in the NIRF Management and Law categories. Along with these rankings, the university holds a NAAC A++ grade with a CGPA of 3.59, and IBS Hyderabad is accredited by AACSB International.

The Management category moved from 39th in 2024 to 46th in 2025, keeping IFHE among NIRF's top 50 management institutions. The Law School entered the 2025 table at 31st. AACSB accreditation, which fewer than 6% of business schools worldwide hold, is an additional credential for IBS.

IFHE Hyderabad Campus and Infrastructure

IFHE's campus is at Donthanpally, Shankarapally Road, Ranga Reddy District, Hyderabad, Telangana. It lies outside central Hyderabad and is within commuting distance of the HITEC City and Gachibowli technology hubs.

Facilities are organised for the needs of the five schools. ICFAI Tech uses engineering spaces that include AI, IoT, cloud computing, and robotics labs. IBS has finance labs and rooms designed for case-study learning. Law students have access to a moot court and legal aid clinic, while B.Arch students work in architecture studios. A central library, computing clusters, and digital learning resources are shared across the university.

The university reports more than 300 faculty members. IBS and the other constituent schools together have an alumni community exceeding 20,000 graduates. IFHE is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities and the Association of Commonwealth Universities.
