Career Point University admission 2024 is currently ongoing through CUET. CPU Hamirpur offers admission to courses in the field of Engineering and Technology, Computer Application and IT, Basic and Applied Sciences, Business & Management, and Vocational and Legal Studies. Career Point University admission is both merit and entrance based. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of the National/State level Entrance Test under the selection criteria fixed by HP Govt. • B.Tech Admission is done through JEE Main / HPTU entrance exam. To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech program, candidates must have passed 10+2 exams with physics, chemistry, and mathematics, as compulsory subjects with at least 45% aggregate marks.
• However, for admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry course, candidates must hold a Diploma/ B.Sc degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized institute with an aggregate of at least 45% marks.
• Admission to undergraduate courses is granted based on marks obtained by the candidates in the last qualifying examination along with involvement in extracurricular activities.
• Admission to B.Sc. and B.Pharma is also done on the basis of merit. However, to be eligible candidates must hold a minimum of 45% marks with PCM as subjects.
• MTech Admission is granted on the basis of merit of the National/State level Entrance Test under the criteria fixed by HP Govt. Candidates must posess a Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks to be eligible for admission.
• MBA admission is granted based on valid CAT / MAT scores. For admission to MBA degree candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• For admission to postgraduate courses such as M.A., M.com, MCA, and M.Sc, candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s degree from any UGC-recognized University or any other equivalent qualification in the relevant subject opted for admission. Candidates are selected on the basis of merit in their qualifying examinations.
• Ph.D. admissions are granted based on UGC norms. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the previous Master’s / M.Phil degree to be eligible for admission.
