IIITM GWALIOR, A research friendly institute

What I Liked

IIITM Gwalior boasts an impressive campus with modern facilities. The state-of-the-art labs, well-equipped classrooms, and a vast library provide an excellent environment for both learning and research. The high-speed internet across the campus and dedicated study areas make it easy for students to collaborate and excel academically. The eco-friendly campus, with greenery and open spaces, adds to the serene atmosphere, making it an ideal place for learning and personal growth.
The faculty members at IIITM Gwalior are not only knowledgeable but also approachable and supportive. They are highly involved in research and encourage students to participate in innovative projects. Their teaching methods bridge theory and practical application, which has been immensely helpful in understanding complex concepts. The mentorship provided by the professors fosters both academic and professional development.

What I didn’t like

The quality of food provided in the mess could be significantly improved. Students often feel that the variety, taste, and hygiene standards do not meet expectations, which can impact overall satisfaction with campus life. Introducing more diverse and nutritious meal options would greatly enhance the experience.
While the campus infrastructure is generally impressive, the hostel facilities could use some upgrades. Issues like occasional maintenance delays and overcrowding in hostels during peak semesters can be inconvenient for students. Improving these aspects would make the living experience more comfortable and conducive to studying.

Remarks:

I went through JEE-Mains, the cutoff for general category is 12k when I've joined in 2020 but now I think it is around 8k. The college has good research community, professors always encouraged us to write research papers. The placements are also good and the connection with alumni is good.

What I Liked

The college campus is large enough to roam around and do good stuff
The canteen facility is also present in multiple areas

What I didn’t like

The hostel is very old so compromise on hostel will happen
Some facilities will take continuous classes which will drain your brain

Remarks:

The alumini network and coding culture in this. College is very good..it helps to grow and invest your valuable time in Learning things that are beneficial for your future and keep growing in tech industry

Life at ABV-IIITM Gwalior

Remarks:

I gave JEE mains to get enrolled in this college. Cut off is around 10k changing year to year. Factors due to which I choose this college was due to its placement stats. Average package of 17 lpa but most of them are off campus.

mine college is best

What I Liked

It has very good infrastruture , more work is also going on to improve its infra.
Its campus life is soo good it has vey good campus to explore new opportunities to grab.

What I didn’t like

Its quite old college its starts in 1997 so its old campus but has good buildings but sometime in rainy seasons the water comes from roof due to sealing.
In campus , there are lots of burden u feel in many areas, not to involve in many clubs becouse sometimes they gave u extra work load which is feel u that extra burden in ur daily clg life.

Remarks:

Its very good college that i come to know when i was preparing for jee examination i got selected threw jee .It is very reputed institute in India . It has very good curiculam also, it is famous for its grenry campus and good placement.

Placement and the campus life made me to choose this college I need to qualify jee mains exam to get addmission in this college I scored 98.1 percentile in jee mains and my rank was 27008 . And I got addmission in this college

The College of your dream.

What I Liked

Infrastructure: The institute has the biggest campus among other iiits.
The faculty members are good here. They support you if you not good in academic air any other problems

What I didn’t like

Campus life: The campus feels empty because it is the biggest in size but not have the big number of students
Infrastructure: it is the biggest campus so we have to travel a lot from hostel to academic block

Remarks:

I don't know much about cgpa and all. I choose this college as it was the best I can get with my jee mains rank. The cut off rank are low for this institute. There is no group discussion or interview to join the institute.

iiitm gwalior - a dark secrets

What I Liked

i like the greenary that inside the campus have. there also buttefly bid sanctuary inside campus which have 1000s os birds species.
faculties are good and helpful . they conduct also extra classes for better understanding of the course.

What I didn’t like

infrastructure is not so good. not well used . there ' s a construction work always happens in inside campus
campus life is so good. that almost every week atleast one program happens in fields like tech , crafts ,music etc

Remarks:

good aspects: institute is one of the top iiits in india .is the first iiits established in india . so have the best alumni network among them. and have the best coding culture. and lots of active clubs .there no home state quota.so here the students from every part of india.so tis make diversity and helps to look about other cultural things. bad aspects: college is big like in 160 acres but not so well maintained,theres a construction works happens always here,and we have to travel almost 1km to go to classes from hostels. they not run vehicles for transportation of students.college gym is so bad.most of the equipments are not well maintained.theres not good cooling system in gym and in sports complex.in hostels there not have ac system and also the first year students cant use their own coolers in hostel. internet system is so bad. mess food is not so good and not prepare in hygiene. admission is through josaa and csab rounds on a basis of rank in jee mains.

What I Liked

Campus Life Friend circle Coding culture Fest and events
Other than this many other benefits are there to be a student of college with national importance.

What I didn’t like

Mess food Mess food have less option as compared to other colleges.
Night restrictions College have strict night restrictions that we have to enter campus before 11 and in the hostel till 12pm

Remarks:

To take admission in this college you require to clear jee mains with rank better than 7000 for bcs. This college has huge campus and have very good coding culture there are many clubs and it is one of the oldest Iiit.

Review of IIITMG

What I Liked

The best things about the college is literally its infrastructure and the campus itself. The entire campus is filled with tress. It aslo has various places to visit like the butterfly sanctuary and a pond near it.
The faculty here is very supportive and will help you out with all sort of problems, whether it is academic or personal. Their methods of teaching is also different form what I've seen so far and it's really helpful to the students

What I didn’t like

The campus is quite big for the no. Of students it has . So the campus seems kind of empty if you roam around it. Some of the buildings are also quite old and needs reconstruction, other than that , everything here seems fine
The campus life here is not that exciting honestly. The clubs are not that active and fest doesn't happen quite happen either . What this college needs is a better student culture in order to make it complete

Remarks:

You have to take the JEE MAINS entrance exam and have to score more than 98 percentile at least to make sure that you get admitted to this college. I read online articles about this college before taking admission.

What I Liked

Infrastructure is very good . All the basic facilities are available like Sports Complex , OAT, Health Center .
all the classrooms are fully air conditioned .

What I didn’t like

Faculty: Some faculty dont deliver much knowledge they just came and cover the syllabus .
the 75 % attendance criteria is necessary.
The academic administration staff behaviour is not good

Remarks:

Infrastructure is great . ABVIIITM has a big green lush campus and it also have a sports complex , health center , 4 Boys Hostel and 2 Lecture Halls . happily all are fully air contioned . You have to give JEE mains exam to get into this clg.
