Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have successfully passed 10+2 from PCB from any recognized board of India and are eligible to apply with minimum of 50% marks and English as a language subject in the qualifying Examination. ( 5% relaxation for SC/ST)
• The candidate who is appearing for the final year examination of 10+2 can also apply
• If any board award grades instead of marks, the calculation would be based on the procedure prescribed by the board.
• The merit list will be released on the basis of the All India Rank (AIR) of the candidate in the NEET-UG Examination

Selection criteria

• The AIR secured in NEET examination will decide the selection of the candidate as well as the freedom of choosing the specializations offered by the university.
• The merit List based on ranks will be released, for all India and Manipur State ranks, candidates will be called for the counseling.

MU Imphal B.Tech courses Admission Criteria 2023

Eligibility Criteria of MU B.Tech courses

• As per the present policy admission of the university into this course, are being done on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) of the candidate in the JEE Mains Examination every year.
• Candidates who are seeking for this course, must have passed 12^th standard of 10+2 system with Physics and Mathematics as main subject and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology as secondary subjects along with English as a compulsory language subject.
• The applicant must have secured more than 45 % aggregation in these subjects (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC).

Selection criteria of MU B.Tech course

MU Imphal M.Tech courses Admission Criteria 2023

Eligibility Criteria of MU M.Tech courses

• As per the present policy admission of the university into this course, are being done on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) of the candidate in the GATE Examination every year.
• The Candidate should have an Undergraduate degree in B.Tech/BCA/BSc Mathematics or Physics with a minimum 3 years of duration and at least 50 % marks aggregated. (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC).

Eligibility Criteria of MU BCA course

• The candidate must have successfully passed 10+2 from any discipline from any recognized board of India and are eligible to apply with a minimum of 50% marks and English as a language subject in the qualifying Examination. ( 5% relaxation for SC/ST)
• The candidate who is appearing for the final year examination of 10+2 can also apply
• If any board award grades instead of marks, the calculation would be based on the procedure prescribed by the board.

Selection criteria for MU BCA course

• There will be direct admission for BCA courses on the basis of 10+ 2 results
• The candidate with JEE Mains score are also eligible for this along with the minimum 50% aggregation in PCM.

MU Imphal MBA Admission Criteria 2023

CAT scores are taken into consideration, the exam consists of 4 sections i.e. Quality Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, Verbal and Reading Comprehension.

Eligibility Criteria of MU MBA course

Minimum 50% aggregated marks in relevant UG course/any relevant 10+2+3 course from a recognized university. (5% relaxation for SC/ST)

The Candidate must have passed with at least 50% aggregated marks in 10+2 in the relevant stream along with English as a compulsory language subject, from a recognized Board like state board or central board. (5% relaxation for SC/ST)

Qualification of any of these exams like CAT/MAT/XAT is necessary, the Rank secured in CAT will decide the selection.

Eligibility Criteria of MU UG course

• For other B.Sc., B.A., and B.Com courses, The candidate must have successfully passed 10+2 from PCB/PCM/Commerce/Arts from any recognized board of India are eligible to apply with a minimum of 50% marks and English as a language subject in the qualifying Examination. ( 5% relaxation for SC/ST)
• The candidate who is appearing for the final year examination of 10+2 can also apply

• All the admission of the UG programs in different specialization courses will be on the basis of percentage aggregated in 10+2 from any recognized board, followed by personal interview and group discussion.

How to apply for UG courses?

Documents required

• Original Passing certificate of 10^th standard
• Mark sheets of 12^th and 10^th showing requisite minimum marks
• Caste certificates signed by an appropriate authority.
• Transfer certificate
• Self attested photocopies of these documents must also be submitted.

• It is followed by filling out the form and offline submission to the concerned admission cells
• If the form cannot be downloaded then the candidate may purchase the form from university itself and then submit the form after filling it.

MU Imphal PG programs Admission Criteria 2023

Eligibility Criteria of MU PG courses

• For rest of the PG course like M.Sc., the admission is based on minimum 55% aggregation in Bachelor’s degree in any relevant science subject like mathematics/physics/chemistry/biology etc., from any recognized university. (5% relaxation for SC/ST).
• M.A. candidates should have at least 55% aggregation in Bachelor’s degree in subjects like humanities/English/Economics/History etc. (5% relaxation for SC/ST). from any recognized university. (5% relaxation for SC/ST).
• M.Com candidates should have at least 55% aggregation in Bachelor’s degree in subjects like accountancy/B.Com/Business etc. from any recognized university. (5% relaxation for SC/ST).

• All the admission of the PG programs in different specialization courses will be on the basis of percentage aggregated in relevant UG Program qualification from any recognized university followed by personal interview and group discussion.
