Poornima University Jaipur Shanti Education Society (SES) Scholarship

The Shanti Education Society (SES) Scholarship recognizes academic excellence and rewards students with outstanding performance in their qualifying examinations. Eligible students can avail tuition fee benefits based on their academic achievements and continue receiving support by maintaining the required CGPA.

Poornima University Jaipur General Scholarship Guidelines

  • Scholarships are applicable on tuition fees only, unless otherwise specified.
  • Under the Flat Fee Option, the awarded scholarship amount is already adjusted in the total program fee.
  • Sports Scholarships are applicable only for the sports specified by the University and are awarded after successful performance in the prescribed selection trials.
  • No scholarship is applicable for BBA Global and BCA Global programs.
  • An additional 5% scholarship for girl students is available in the first year only. This benefit is not applicable to students availing SAS, FIRE, Yogmaya, BBA Global, or BCA Global scholarships/programs.
  • No scholarship provision is available for B.Tech (Working Professionals) – Lateral Entry programs.
  • Sports certificates issued on or after 1 January 2023 shall be considered only if issued by recognized Federations, Associations, or SGFI.
  • Students applying under the Sports Scholarship category must participate in the scholarship trials conducted by the University.
  • The NCC 'C' Certificate Scholarship is applicable only to eligible postgraduate programs.
  • Any special scholarship not specifically covered under the scholarship policy shall be converted to SES Category-I Scholarship from the second year onwards, subject to eligibility.
  • A student may avail only one scholarship at a time. Once a scholarship category is selected and approved, it cannot be changed during subsequent years of the program.
  • Students who are not eligible for a scholarship at the time of admission shall not become eligible for the same scholarship in subsequent years unless otherwise specified by the University.
  • The President's Scholarship remains applicable for the entire duration of the program, subject to continued eligibility and compliance with University regulations.
  • Only Gramin Shiksha Yojna and PEARLS of Rajasthan Royals Foundation (RRF) scholarships are applicable on both tuition fees and development fees.
  • Scholarship benefits are subject to verification of documents and fulfillment of the prescribed eligibility criteria.
  • The University reserves the right to amend, revise, or discontinue any scholarship scheme, eligibility condition, or benefit structure without prior notice.

Poornima University Jaipur Scholarship FAQs

Ques: How is the percentage calculated for merit-based scholarships at Poornima University Jaipur?

Ans. Scholarships at Poornima University are determined using the aggregate marks of your best five subjects in Class 12 (with preference given to Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for B.Tech programs).

Important Note: If your school board has already calculated and printed a final percentage on your marksheet, the university will use that exact number. You cannot recalculate it using the best five rules.

Ques: Does Poornima University offer scholarships based on entrance exams?

Ans. Yes. National entrance exam ranks/percentiles can qualify you for specific fee waivers at Poornima University:

  • B.Tech: Scholarships are awarded dynamically based on your JEE Main percentile (e.g., scoring a 90 percentile or above can grant up to a 50% tuition fee waiver).
  • B.Arch / Architecture: Based on NATA scores.
  • Hotel Management: Based on NCHMCT JEE scores.

Ques: Can I combine multiple scholarships if I qualify for more than one?

Ans. No. Candidates can only avail one scholarship at a time at Poornima University. If candidates qualify for multiple categories, you will need to choose the one that offers the highest benefit.

Ques: Do I automatically keep my scholarship for the entire duration of the course?

Ans. No. Poornima University scholarship is renewed every year based on performance in the previous academic year.

  • Academic Criteria: Renewal is evaluated strictly on the SGPA/CGPA of theory papers from the previous year.
  • Disciplinary Action: Any involvement in disciplinary issues or ragging will result in immediate and permanent termination of the waiver.
