B.Sc allied health courses such as Cardiac Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Radiology and Imaging Technology, Optometry, Renal Dialysis Technology, and Emergency Medicine Technology are offered at INR 1,56,000 per year. The B.Sc (Agriculture) fee is INR 3,06,000 to 5,06,000 per year. Ph.D fees across all schools are INR 50,000 to 56,000 per year.

BIHER Admission Process

BIHER follows different admission routes for different course groups. Some programmes use state-level entrance exams and counselling, while others allow direct admission through the university.

B.Tech Admission

For B.Tech, students must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and must have at least 45 per cent marks. Tamil Nadu candidates can get admission through TNEA, based on Class 12 cut-off marks. Students from outside Tamil Nadu can apply directly using JEE Main scores or 10+2 PCM merit. Diploma holders can enter the second year through B.Tech Lateral Entry.

MBBS and BDS Admission

MBBS and BDS applicants need 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. General category students need at least 50 per cent marks, while SC/ST students need 40 per cent. A valid NEET UG score is required. TNMGRMU counselling is used for BDS state quota seats, and state NEET UG counselling is used for MBBS. Management quota seats are filled directly by the BIHER admissions office.

MBA and Law Admission

MBA applicants must have a graduation degree in any discipline with 50 per cent marks and a valid CAT, MAT, or TANCET score. Selection also includes group discussion and personal interview rounds. Law courses such as BA LLB, BBA LLB, and LLB Hons use CLAT, TANLAU, or 10+2 merit. BIHER School of Law handles direct admission for management seats.

Nursing, Allied Health, and Pharmacy

B.Sc Nursing and B.Pharm require 10+2 with PCB. NEET UG is valid for these courses, and it has been mandatory for nursing from 2021. Allied health B.Sc admission is based on 10+2 PCB merit, with or without NEET, depending on the programme and state authority rules.
