Placement Experience:

The plan after the course is to go for competatives like Gate , Nat ,Gis etc. after the degree we can apply directly for the Geologist position in some government or private sectors and for mines also.

Remarks:

To go to a central university you need to appear Cuet ( common university entrance test ) after that you need to apply with the Cuet result . Universities display their merit list individually, so you need to check regularly.

Placement Experience:

College placements are not that good, very few students get placed annually. It's mainly because of the nature of courses, most of the courses as well as students are research oriented. So itself number of students choosing higher studies are high. Notable number of alumni are there in IITs and other foreign universities.

Remarks:

Admission in central universities are through a common entrance test called CUET UG, where almost 50+ govt and private universities participate. There is no other kind of interview or GD for admission it is solely based on CUET test score. Affordability of the course attracts people here.

Placement Experience:

For my department there were no such placements coming in. For other departments yes placement cell is there, and like for an example from economics department student get into private banks, and some from other department students getting into schools. Mainly the b.Ed ones.

Remarks:

The faculty is really great, for admission if you check the professor's cv they are highly educated and knowledgeable. And it will be assure when you get to take class from them. The teaching and the knowledge they provide is unforgettable. There was not such any group discussion or written tests for admission from the college side. But, to be eligible to take admission you have to give CUET exam's. Good about the college is that it's a place that will make you one man person. You have to do a lot of things on your own from hostel to departmental works. Professors make sure to provide quality content and so do they expect in the exams. If you get good friends, college is big to hangout in night for a walk. Not much restrictions. Whereas the bad qualities are the seasons mainly the summer time, you won't be able to bear, the mess food (disgusting most probably), the cleanliness in the old hostels are little poor. For buying things you have to go far from the college. Cutoff are less.

Placement Experience:

As in my course there were not direct placements but frequently open placements were there such as many schools were hiring for respective subjects with good salaries even banks were there such as fedral bank etc.

Remarks:

I gave CUET for the admission and I scored 168 at that time and I got admission in first list in this university and I choose this university because ranking was good among central universities and also faculty was the main factor.

Placement Experience:

There is no significant campus placement available for the microbiology field from the University. But they do help you with recommendations that let you get into an internship. You have the opportunity to complete your final year project at the University itself or can go outside for the Project. I'm planning to get into any of the Pharmaceutical industry after completion of the course

Remarks:

I got into the university through an entrance examination named CUET(PG). The exam isn't very hard and can be cracked with some effort and dedication. Central University has been a preferred destination for the majority of the students once they complete their graduation, I got to know about the university from my friends and professors. I secured 183 marks in the examination (life science) and got admitted in the 5th allotment list

Course Curriculum Overview:

All the faculties were the associate professors and the assistant professors and so many PhD scholars were there under them. The teaching method was convenient and it was quite professional. It was different from the ug. More like friendly interactions

Remarks:

I have attended an entrance exam cuet exam for entering this university. I didn't attended any interviews. Facilities, hostel facilities classroom facilities and faculties are the factors that made me choose this college

Placement Experience:

The right Central University of Tamil Nadu got an A+ Certificate from NAAC. Within 15th years of starting. And already there are min of 10 companies that recruited students.. for example in my department last year 5 people were recruited by a federal bank.

Remarks:

Due to the Central university and education system and excellent professors. I have learnt in Kendriya Vidyalaya which is all you it is govt owned and CBSE schools with good for better infrastructure than the privately owned schools. I just wanted to learn in the same way.

Placement Experience:

There are adequate amount of placements available from the university. The main recruiters from the university include Federal Bank, Aakash Byjus, TCS, Infosys, schools etc. The highest package maybe about 12LPA and the lowest will be around 2.5LPA. Most of the students from the science stream opts for higher studies like PhD instead of getting placed. Around 15% of students opt for placement whereas the rest opts for higher studies. My plan after getting the degree is to do research in my specialization which is Compuatational Chemistry. I may go abroad for the same because of availability of latest tachnology.

Remarks:

The good aspects are: 1. It is funded by the central government, so there is adequate funding. 2. Certificate have greater value compared to most other autonomous and private college. 3. Cheapest way to earn an MSc. degree. 4. Lots of central government and state government scholarships are applicable here. 5. The Department of chemistry is well equipped with the best of highly experienced teachers. It has almost every sophisticated instrumentation facilities which you would expect for a research-oriented study. The bad aspects are: 1. The college is slightly inaccessible. There are few but adequate means of transportation to reach the college. 2. The college is situated in a rural area 3. Food is average. Admission Process: Admission process is simple. You can apply for the course when they call for first allotment using your CUET marks. They will short-list you and let you know about the further procedures. Admission process is transparent. Cut-off marks may vary from time to time.

Placement Experience:

Placements are based on your academic performance as well as your performance in the interviews conducted in the campus. Federal Bank is the important recruiter in the campus. The packages provided are strictly based on performance of the student.

Remarks:

I wished to join a Central university in South India which was well equipped with both excellent faculty and also a supportive infrastructure and I came across CUTN. The entrance was based on a written test by NTA. Allotment lists were published according to the marks of the written test. The exam is called CUET and is conducted by the NTA every year. Anyone who can score a decent marks can get admission in CUTN. I just revised my 12th syllabus and also practiced some aptitude tests.
