First of all the campus environment and surroundings are so hygienic and clean that we can't see any places dirty inside the campus I have participated in the Madras NCC club so that I learned more about army training and as well as to save people in critical stages I have stayed at PG at Perungalathur because the PG rent was around 6k per month and affordable food and a good environment that I liked more.

Read Full ReviewUniversity od madras has five campuses, at chepauk, at marina, at chetpet, at guiny and at taramani. Each campus have each specialization, at chepauk we have arts and humanities. We have two biggest fest , they are kerlotsavam and neidhal. To celebrate keralites we have keralotsavam in the month of september to october. And tho celebrate the joy of pongal, we have neidhal fest in the month of janurary, prior to pongal. Madras university library, one of the biggest and oldest library in chennai, is located in unom. And we have hostels in four campuses, out of five, We have our own student union, we have environment clubs, nss and ncc and much more. We have abvb and sfi for the welfare of students. Also the chetpet campus is specially for physical education and to promote sports.

Read Full ReviewHostel is another plus for this university. The hostel is located in taramani which takes nearly 40 mins in train to reach there. The hostel also conducts various events like hostel day, sports day to engage the students. Screening of Ipl matches also takes place.
The campus has an evergreen atmosphere and were surrounded by beautiful trees. Various events, festivals, games were conducted. Cultural festivals were conducted to maintain social harmony. Various people around the country study here and this makes this university mixed cultural one.

There are many clubs as well such as eco club, research club, hr Club and it depends on qhuch department you choose. The hostel has no curfew, serves decent food and has a monthly end party also. I stay in an apartment rn in Nungambakkam which is around 4km away from the University. The travel from here to university is easy as well.
