Here are some Key Points related to the admission of students at SHUATS:
- Foreign aspirants, NRI wards, or NRI-sponsored students are not obligated to perform in any of the entrance exams.
- These admissions will be in contradiction of 15 % over and above seats existing for several academic programs
- The university reserves 50% seats for students of the Christian community
- About 15% and 25% of seats are reserved for ICAR-supported students in UG and PG academic programs
- The university provides admissions in UG, PG, and PhD degrees. For SHUATS admission 2022, aspirants can apply online or offline.

Eligibility Criteria
- B.Tech: Must have passed 10+2 in PCB, PCM with an aggregate of 45% for B. Tech admission.
- B.Sc (Hons): Candidates require qualification of 10+2 in PCB, PCM, and PCMB with a minimum of 45-50% allowing for several specialisations of B.Sc. admission.
- B.Pharm: Candidate must have completed 10+2 in PCB or PCM with at least 50% marks.
- B.A: For a candidate to be eligible for the BA program they need 10+2 in the corresponding associated discipline with a minimum of 50% marks conferring to the several specializations of BA admission.
- B.B.A: Must have passed 10+2 in any relevant discipline with at least 50% marks as an aggregate.
- B.Com: 10+2 in any discipline with at least 45% marks as an aggregate.
- BCA: Candidate should have passed 10+2 in any related discipline with Mathematics as a subject and at least 45% marks as an aggregate
- B.Ed: Bachelor or Master’s program degree in any relevant discipline with at least 50% marks as an aggregate.
- B.P.Ed: Candidate must have BPE or any related Bachelor’s degree in any interrelated discipline with an elective subject of PE and at least 50% marks in total.
Selection Criteria
- B.Tech: Selection is based on the outcome of the entrance examination followed by university counselling although NRI, Foreign applicants are omitted from the entrance exam.
- B.Sc (Hons): Based on an effect of the entrance examination tracked by university counselling.
- B.Pharm: Based on entrance test tracked by college counselling.
- B.A/ B.Com: Based on a result of the All-India Entrance Examination followed by university counselling.
- B.B.A: Based on a result of the entrance test conducted by the university but NRI or Foreign aspirants can apply without appearing for the entrance exam.
- BCA: Based on the performance of an applicant and the marks secured by him/her in the entrance examination conducted by the university at the PAN India level.
- B.Ed: The selection procedure is based on the marks secured by the candidate in the entrance exam conducted by the university. Based on this entrance exam a merit list is released with the names of the students selected.
- B.P.Ed: The selection procedure is through a single entrance exam for the candidates to get admission to the B.P. Ed program.

Eligibility Criteria
- M.Tech: An applicant is required to hold a B. E or B. Tech degree in any field, according to the program applying from a recognized college or institution. The student must have secured a minimum 50% marks or 5.5 CGPA in their graduation course, though 5% relaxation is given to reserved category applicants.
- MBA: An applicant who has completed a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks or 6 CGPA is eligible to apply for the course. The college provides a 5% reduction to reserved category applicants.
- MCA: An applicant who has finished a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics as a subject is eligible to apply for the course. A minimum of 50% marks or 5.5 CGPA are required in the core subjects. The college provides a 5% reduction to reserved category applicants.
- M.Sc: A student should hold a B.Sc. degree from a recognized university and at minimum, a student must have 57% marks or 6 CGPA in the core subjects. The college provides 5% relaxation to reserved category applicants.

Selection Criteria
- M.Tech: The SHUATS MTech selection procedure is based on the result of the entrance examination followed by counselling conducted by the college. NRI or Foreign students are exempted from the entrance exam.
- MBA: based on the result of an entrance examination conducted by the university and followed by counselling for selected candidates.
- MCA: Based on the result of an entrance examination, though NRI or Foreign applicants are exempted to appear in the entrance examination.

An applicant who has completed a Master’s degree in the relevant stream with a minimum of 57% marks or 6 CGPA (5% reduction is given to reserved category).
Selection Criteria
The Selection procedure is based on the score of the candidates in the entrance exam conducted by the university.
SHUATS Application Process
Offline Mode
- A mutual application form can be submitted for all academic programs for admission over the entrance exam or direct interview.
- The prospectus along with the application form will be presented on payment of INR 400 from the admission counter of the university.
- The application forms A and B should be duly filled with the personal and educational details required.
- The application form with a Demand Draft should be submitted to the admissions office before the last date of admission acceptance.
Online Mode
- The online application form for the Entrance Exam conducted by SHUATS is available on the university’s official website.
- Visit the official website of SHUATS and click on the Admissions Tab.
- Fill in all the information that is marked mandatory in the form and click “Submit”.
- The student should upload a recent passport-size photograph with the scanned copy of the documents.
- The Application Fee for the UG and PG courses is INR 1,200.
- Payment choices for candidates to pay the registration fee are through both Online and Offline modes. After payment, the candidate needs to save the receipt for reference to the payment.

SHUATS Admission FAQs
Ques. Is there any entrance test that is required to be qualified for admission in SHUATS?
Ans. Candidates applying for admission to courses at SHUATS should pass the written examination or find admission based on the merit list of the eligible examination over open online counselling.
Ques. What is the SHUATS counselling program in the admission procedure?
Ans. The students who have passed the entrance examination are required to appear for PI and counselling. For the duration of the counselling session, the selected students are communicated about the seat allocation for the respective programs.
Ques. Which are a few of the main features of the MBA program at SHUATS?
Ans. At the PG level, the college offers MBA to the candidates, the duration of which is 2 years. Under the MBA program, the university focuses on the students learning numerous features of Business Studies through theory and case studies. To get admission to the MBA program the applicants must appear in an Entrance examination conducted by the University.
