Placement is decent, those who are deserving are sure shot to get placed. The Career and Placement Cell organizes seminars during semester start where the companies are invited to give a talk on what kind of skills they require and talk about other relevant things. CDC gives its level best to invite all top notch companies for placement. Eligibility criteria of placement totally dependa on the company's criteria. A few recruiters are Microsoft, Oracle, HP, Hcl, Bain and Co, Goldman Sachs.
Qualification of the professors here was quite impressiveactually, everyonewas a PHd atleast, I was getting computer science, less batch intake which meant more focus on individual student and lesscompetition, decent placement statistics
Read Full ReviewI have joined this college in 2024 only, that is I am pursuing my first year in B.TECH so I am not sure about the placements coming to this college, but as I have asked to my seniors I have come to know that there are lot of companies which comes every year and students are getting placed in a good amount.
The factors which made me choose this college is first of all Shiv Nadar is an Institute of eminence. I chose this college to get some good exposure and the campus environment was too good as well as the researches we do here is really amazing and also the placements was too good. To join this college you have to clear either JEE mains or SNUSAT which is conducted by the college to get into B.TECH courses. Just prepare for you JEE mains exam well so you can easily crack the SNUSAT if you can able to manage the time and know to clear aptitude, verbal reasoning and essay paper. The good aspects of this college is I have already mentioned above.
Read Full ReviewPlacements and internships are better than average for BTech with the average package being over 12LPA this year. Placement percentage is over 90% with offers from Amazon, Paytm, Cognizant, HCL, Dell, Hp, Amex and quite a few others.
For admission there are quite a few modes, JEE, SAT or SNU's own admission test SNUSAT based on these tests you may be required to appear for an interview. The admission process is quite flexible and seamless but due to very limited seats it might become a bit challenging to gain admission.
Read Full ReviewPlacements are quite good for CSE branch. Most of the students get placed and others go for higher studies. Students get many opportunities from 3rd year itself. Most of the companies look for 7+cgpa. The highest package on campus as far as I remember is around 35 lakhs and the average is around 9-10 lakhs.
The faculty and vast campus area made me choose this university. The sports culture is very good here and you get many options in the field of research. There was a written test for admission and after that you need to give an online interview for the selection. The exam name is SNUSAT. It is conducted in both online and offline mode for our batch. There's no such minimum cutoff in the exam. If you're qualified you'll get a mail of selection.
Read Full ReviewEligibility criteria is to have a cgpa above 8 for CSE Students. Top companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, McKinsey all come to our university. Highest package offered is 60 lacs while average is around 12 lacs. I plan to pursue MBA abroad after my degree. 100% students get placed in our college.
I applied through the college board SAT, I scored 1520 in it. Cutoffs for the uni are not publicly available but generally JEE scores above 93 percentile are accepted for CSE. I had to also sit through a interview with questions in Maths and Physics.
Read Full ReviewAs I mentioned, rhe curriculum is very good and the faculty is very very experienced and highly qualified. The research opportunities are endless, you can pursue a research in anything that you find even remotely interesting.
This college has an excellent research oriented coursework, including OUR (Opportunities for Undergraduate Researchers) program, which helps young UG students to get hands on experience in doing research. Apart from that, the course curriculum in this college is at par with the top Colleges in Research in India, like IISER and NISER etc. The faculty is a very experienced bunch of people, with very very good qualifications and experience. There was an interview round for B.Sc. degree - this happens after you clear the first round which is SNUSAT paper. The interview is the final round. But for engineering, there is no interview round, just selection.
Read Full ReviewThe placement here is good. But you have to grill yourself as well. Nothing comes without doing anything. So if you want a good placement you’ll have to study well for that and maintain a good GPA as well.
The admission is done through SNU SAT or her mains score, the board exam cutoff is 70%. The college is good as the crowd here is small and the quality is really good. All these reasons make up a really good peer group.
Read Full ReviewThe criteria for placement is a 7.5 GPA for good companies in the 4th year. A lot of famous companies come here like Amazon, Google, Paytm, PayPal, Mercedes, etc. I don't remember the exact no of offers made but a total of 95% of students got placed last year. The highest package was 69L and the was around 10L, I plan to join the semiconductor field and probably join intel through campus placement.
Yes, we had to clear either jee (score good marks ) or clear snus on paper, both of which were equally tough. I got to know about this university from my father as he was the one who recommended it to me and I am happy to say that is chose it. The admission process was easy fast and professional. I prepared for Jee through VMC coaching and secured 90.89 percentile.
Read Full ReviewThe placement opportunities are pretty much basic and are not that good. Any student has to pursue a master's degree after college to get a good salary. The recruiters that visit are also not that big.
The college has straightforward admissions rounds. You can get admission through SAT, SNUSAT or JEE Mains scores. The college has good infrastructure and ambience. But the security policies of the college are not very good. There is a culture of less studying plus the faculty is also not good. The student help offices are not that cooperative and the student body is also not that powerful. The food quality is also really poor considering the fees. The hostels are decent but always smelly.
Read Full ReviewPlacements are decent for my course, not all the students sit for placement in an undergraduate degree hence the chances of you getting a job is quite high, the qualification bar to sit in campus placement is low so you need not worry about not getting placed because of your CGPA, the highest package for our course was 16 lakh, the average being 6-6.5 lakhs and the lowest was around 3 I guess
The factors that made me choose this college were that it had a very well-balanced college life and studies, we could choose our own courses upto an extent, the hostel is mandatory here and I wanted to experience it at least once which was the best decision I made. The admission process is standardised, first, I had to take the college exam called SNUSAT, and after qualifying in I was selected for an interview and after completing that I was mailed with the acceptance letter. I was preparing for IPMAT at that time so the syllabi was pretty much identical hence I didn’t have to study separately for it
