Eligibility Criteria: Students aspiring to enroll in the 2-year full-time M.Tech program in Computer Science and Engineering should have completed:

• Eligibility for the program includes a B.Tech or B.E. in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, or Computer Science & Technology.
• Alternatively, candidates with an MCA (with B.Sc. Hons. in specified subjects), M.Sc. in Computer & Information Science (with B.Sc. Hons. in Computer Science from the University of Calcutta), B.Tech in I.T. (from CU only), or an equivalent degree of B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering of Calcutta University can apply.

Non-C.U. Candidates should have a minimum of 60% in their last qualifying examination and at least 60% in their 10+2 level, with GATE qualification required. All non-C.U. degrees must be approved by UGC/AICTE and equivalent to C.U. degrees in respective subjects. Entrance tests and interviews are required for most candidates, except for CU current year B.Tech. in CSE and IT and CU MCA candidates, who do not need a GATE-qualified valid score.
