Eligibility Criteria: 

• Candidates can apply for the M.Tech in VLSI Design program if they hold a B.Tech degree in Radio Physics and Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, or an equivalent degree recognized by the University of Calcutta.
• Non-CU applicants should have a minimum of 60% marks in their B.Tech degree and a valid GATE score in relevant subjects (Electronics & Communication or Computer Science). While GATE scores are not mandatory for current-year CU B.Tech students in Radiophysics & Electronics and Information Technology, all other applicants need to pass an entrance test followed by an interview for admission.

About This Course: M.Tech in VLSI Design program focuses on advanced concepts and techniques in Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) circuit design, covering topics such as digital and analog integrated circuit design, system-on-chip (SoC) development, and semiconductor technologies. Students gain hands-on experience in designing and fabricating integrated circuits, preparing them for careers in semiconductor companies and electronics research and development.

Application Fee: The application Fee is Rs. 400/- (Rupees Four hundred) for the General & other categories of candidates and Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred) for the SC/ST/PWD category of candidates. Identity Card fee Rs.50/-. Duplicate Identity Card Fee Rs.100/- (if applicable). Duplicate Fees Book Fee Rs.50/- (if applicable). Transfer fee from one course to another course within the Technology Faculty Rs.200/-

Fees: Tuition Fee for Sponsored Candidate – Rs. 6000/- Per Month. For foreign students, the tuition Fee will be $500.00 or equivalent INR per semester for all courses. All other fees will be like Indian Students.
