Candidates can apply for the M.Tech in VLSI Design program if they hold a B.Tech degree in Radio Physics and Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, or an equivalent degree recognized by the University of Calcutta.
Non-CU applicants should have a minimum of 60% marks in their B.Tech degree and a valid GATE score in relevant subjects (Electronics & Communication or Computer Science). While GATE scores are not mandatory for current-year CU B.Tech students in Radiophysics & Electronics and Information Technology, all other applicants need to pass an entrance test followed by an interview for admission.
