Cotton university is one of the best and most prestigious educational institution of Assam. It is the pride of every to get the opportunity to study here. Students from different states across India come to Study here. Admission for ug course is based on the scores obtained in cuet examination and it is also merit based. Pg admission is done on the basis of the scores in the examination held by the university.

I chose it because of it being the oldest and one of the most prestigious colleges (now University) of the entire North East. Though it has lived past it's glory days, it is still one of the best institutes one can opt for, if he/she is not willing to go out too far from their home.. The faculty is very good.. I had to give CUET as its entrance test.

if you are a good student and residence of northeast or assam then it would be the best choice to choose over the other college because firstly it is a government college and it is central university. admission process will be on the basic of academic excellence and cuet score and entrance test. there will be no interview except for PhD scholar.

Its good reputation. Also the faculty is highly qualified and the campus life is also great. The library consists of all necessary books and materials. Our placement cell is also greatly active. Also with respect to studies various other activities goes on in our campus to enrich ourselves.

The process is simple through as the process goes through online first for applications than it pass on to entrance examination called cuet in which scoring above 80% is at a most prominent chance of getting admission

no till 2022 it was total based on best of three subjects cutoff for ug courses and from 2023 on wards anyone can apply through the cuetug there are no written examination conducted by the university for its ug cousres but till now its masters prgrm are not not been included in cuetpg

I choose this college because the department is very good and the teachers were very friendly . They taught us according to our syllabus and does not put overload on our work. There is common university entrance test for our college

I choose this college because it offers my desired course and near to my hometown. For Admission in university we can apply through passing 12th with above 60-70% or by some entrance exams like CUET. For CUET, cut-off for ST, SC are above 200 and for OBC are around 300-400 above.

Cotton univeristy is the first college and university established in assam . My parents studied here so i am here . It is very prestiages college in assam . But after NEP there are lots of problem face by students due to samarth portal where students can't get to do properly qnything like form filap , admission payment etc.
