Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU) was established in 2015 by the Maharashtra Government Act. It is recognized by AICTE and UGC. ADYPU Offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs in disciplines like Engineering, Management, Design, and many more. ADYPU Ranking by IIRF was 68th out of 160 colleges in the overall category in 2024.

ADYPU offers BTech courses as its flagship program. To be eligible for admission, candidates must secure 50% marks (45% marks in the case of reserved categories) in 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or any technical vocational subjects as optional. The final selection is based on the ACET exam conducted by the university. Other exams like JEE Main or MHT CET are also accepted. ADYPU cutoff for JEE Main 2023 for General category BTech admission ranges from 14264 - 19890. ADYPU fees for BTech is INR 10 lakhs for all specializations.

ADYPU Placements 2023-24 witnessed over 500 companies visiting the campus for recruitment. The highest CTC offered was INR 1.2 crore per annum, and the average CTC recorded was INR 6.5 LPA. Some of the recruiters were Vision Mechatronics, Vodafone, TCS, Piaggio, Tata Motors, Reliance, TeachForIndia, Byjus, Siemens, Jio, Asian Paints, etc.
