DSU Bangalore admits students to programmes such as B.Tech and MBA through national exams, state exams, and DSAT, its own aptitude test. At the UG level, DSU Bangalore offers B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc, BBA, B.Pharm, BPT, B.Sc Nursing, LLB, BA LLB, BBA LLB, BA JMC, Pharm.D, and P.B.B.Sc Nursing. Admission routes differ by course. DSU Bangalore offers MBA, M.Tech, MCA, M.Pharm, M.Sc, MPH, LLM, and Executive MBA at the PG level. DSU Ph.D Admission 2026

DSU Bangalore offers Ph.D admission for students who hold a master’s degree in the relevant field. The minimum required score is 55%, while SC/ST students need 50%. Selection is through DPET, with a waiver for students who have qualified UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, GATE, or SLET. A personal interview is mandatory.

DSU Admission FAQs

Ques. Can I skip DSAT if I already have JEE Main or KCET marks?

Ans. Yes. DSAT is only one admission route. B.Tech applicants can use JEE Main, KCET, or COMEDK UGET scores. MBA applicants can apply through CAT, Karnataka PGCET, MAT, GMAT, or KMAT. Students who already have a valid accepted score for their course do not have to take DSAT.

Ques. Which DSU courses accept KCET apart from engineering?

Ans. KCET is accepted for B.Sc, B.Pharm, BPT, B.Sc Nursing, and Pharm.D, along with B.Tech. Karnataka domicile students with a valid KCET rank can use KEA counselling at kea.kar.nic.in for these courses. KCET quota fees are usually lower than management quota fees. Students from outside Karnataka must use CUET-UG, COMEDK, or DSAT based on the programme.

Ques. How can non-Karnataka students apply for B.Tech at DSU?

Ans. Students from outside Karnataka can apply for B.Tech through JEE Main 2026, COMEDK UGET 2026, or DSAT. The application is submitted at dsu.edu.in. These seats come under the management quota, and the total B.Tech fee is INR 16,48,000 to INR 18,88,000 for 4 years, depending on the branch. KEA KCET counselling is only for Karnataka domicile students.

Ques. What MBA options does DSU Bangalore offer?

Ans. DSU Bangalore has 9 MBA specializations: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, IT and Systems Management, Marketing Management, Supply Chain Management, and MBA General. The total fee is INR 11,92,000 for 2 years for every specialization. Ques. Which documents are usually checked during DSU admission?

Ans. Students need their 10+2 or graduation mark sheets, entrance exam scorecard, transfer certificate, migration certificate, character certificate, caste or category certificate if applicable, and recent passport-size photographs. KCET applicants from Karnataka also need the KEA seat allotment letter. Originals must be shown during document verification.

Ques. How much does B.Sc cost at DSU Bangalore?

Ans. DSU B.Sc fees are between INR 4,26,000 and INR 5,16,000 for the 3-year course. Emergency and Trauma Care and Medical Lab Technology cost INR 4,26,000. Data Science, Cyber Security, and Cardiac Care cost INR 4,86,000. Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Genetics, Microbiology, and OT Technology cost INR 5,16,000. Ques. Is there one common deadline for all DSU admissions?

Ans. No. DSU does not follow one common closing date for every course. DSAT runs through the year. KCET-based admissions follow KEA counselling rounds, while PGCET-based courses such as MBA, MCA, and M.Tech follow the PGCET result and counselling schedule. Students should apply early at dsu.edu.in because seats can fill up.

What I Liked

It offers specialised majors, allowing students to delve deep into their areas of interest and expertise, whether it is in computer science, electronics, or other engineering disciplines. The students are exposed to knowledge beyond their specialisation, which helps broaden their horizons of thought.
I like my college because the colleges staffs are so interactive and good and we didn't get any problem there in our college .our college does makes so many biggest festivals and so many celebrities will come and perform.

What I didn’t like

There is nothing to don't like excepts attendance

Remarks:

Nowe didn't face any kind of Group Discussions, Interviews or Written Tests for admission. the factors made me to choose this clg is good environment,best campus nice infrastructures every thing clean and disciplined here in our college and hostel is also best

What I Liked

Campus is nice faculties are supportive
Industrial visits new connections with officials

What I didn’t like

College is in outskirts so no facilities are there
Accidents happens if ignorance is there because highway is ahead soprecautions should be taken

Remarks:

For admission in this college I had taken COMEDK and in third round of counselling I got this college as I applied from first round but now the rank hai gone high . Student should secure under 18000 rank to get admission in DSU for jee it will be around 60 to 80 thousand and KCET data fluctuatesore so cannot say .

The Detailed Review of Dayananda Sagar University, Main Campus

What I Liked

The infrastructure is crazy good. Facilities and the environment is good and chill. Nothing to worry about and really comfortable to be honest.
Campus life, depends on you. How much can you extract from your own experiences. There are differing experiences for everyone

What I didn’t like

Its quite far from the main city, and the nearest place to get commodities is the Harohalli market which is about 3-4 kms away. (7 mins). They are setting up a shop soon tho. But still being far away from the city is a big hassle, if you often visit the city or have people/friends there like me.
Very negligent to the student’s demands. The structure of management and the management itself is very disoriented from what I have noticed.

Remarks:

Found the college through campaigning done in my city. I had to give a scholarship test called DSAT, which I’m not sure if it’s still there. I got some scholarship through that. The results were not declared, but they did notify you if you were qualified for the scholarship. The exam was fairly easy.

What I Liked

Faculty:- Faculties are good and very supportive they will help you with everything like attendance and marks they won't poke you without any reason they will help in exams also
Campus life is very average of this college it is located in outskirts of city so you won't get anything

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure Infrastructure of this college is very good you'll feel that you are in Harvard they built it very big and beautiful sometimes it is also headache as you have to travel alot to reach some point
Campus life is average as college is located in outskirts of the city you won't get anything even for basic thing you have to travel to Harohalli which is 5km away

Remarks:

Placements of this college is good even the location of this college very supportive faculties and good infrastructure very light environment. But the management is very poor of this college they don't know what to do when last time they gave us sem ennd exam schedule 5 days before exam always postpone internals. You can take admission through Jee score DSAT and direct Admission

What I Liked

Faculties and the friends I got from the college
The liberty faculties have given us while studying with not much pressure.

What I didn’t like

Not much fest or functions were held at college.
The college and hostel buildings were far away.

Remarks:

No, I haven't faced any group discussions, interviews, but I gave Karnataka CET exam after 12th and got into this college, I have researched about this college and liked it, and some of my friends and relatives recommend me to join this college because it is one of the best engineering colleges in Bengaluru.

Online exam DSAT, It was pretty moderate level of exam. You could expect question like SAT exam, not that the level can match jee question paper but with some preparation you could easily crack the exam.

What I Liked

Infrastructure, the campus has vast infrastructure.
Campus life, friendly atmosphere everywhere Lake inside the campus

What I didn’t like

The faculties sometimes are not perfect.
Strict correction of exams, mid semester and end semester.

Dsat was the Enterance exam for dayananda Sagar institutions, it is a moderate level Enterance exam It is in online mode, fee for the exam is around 1000 There are multiple rounds in this exam If qualified, a scholarship will be given The minimum score for qualification is 80 The admission is simple Most of the details are submitted online whole applying for exam. If qualified you'll receive mail from university and a link for payment of fee.

Dayananda Sagar ka farda fas

What I Liked

I love compus and the infrastructure that college offers
I love the sports and the good infrastructure of sports

What I didn’t like

There is no shade in parking and vehicle stays in sun whole day
No mirror in washroom and no good quality of food in canteen

Remarks:

Infrastructure was one of the most thing which me join and Dayanand Sagar has good reputation. I have joined from KCET so I didn't face any interview or test for addmission and people joining from Management also need not write or face interview
