My life at RLBCAU

What I Liked

The infrastructure is the bestest thing here and new swimming pools are also being constructed and the gardens are also pretty and the landscape here is just so peaceful.
There are ponds with boating facilities and strawberry fields are very pretty.

What I didn’t like

There is not sports related infrastructure
Fests and musical events are not held here which makes life here little boring.

Placement Experience:

We are offered internship in 7th semester in which companies like dhanuka and manupra mushrooms take part and offer a stipend of 20000 for 3 months. I plan to pursue mba in agribusiness management after my bachelor's degree.

Internships Opportunities:

I am in 2nd year so not got the opportunity yet but seniors say there's a stipend of 20000 for 4 months of internship. Companies like dhanuka and manupra mushrooms give internship. We get a chance to get experience and knowledge about work related to this field.

A best part of the short life in university.

What I Liked

The infrastructure of the university is very very beautiful,have several places for the visit in the campus but there have small area for the practical according to a normal university size. In university campus there did not have own auditorium and good stage for programs.

What I didn’t like

University didn't have own auditorium and good stage for the programs. And small faculty in subjects according to the a central university. And improper sports facilities availablity.

Placement Experience:

There is absence of the placements but the students gate a high level jobs after the digree completed. The planning after the digree, students decided in 4year already according to the requirements students prepare for the exams

Internships Opportunities:

In seventh semester the college give the chance to do work with the companies which are invited for the intership for 2months.According to the requirements company select the students and give the intership by providing salary based on months.

Overall a good experience at RLBCAU

What I Liked

Infrastructure is beautiful and high tech with lots of facilities
We have a good and supporting faculties here

What I didn’t like

There is nothing much to dislike about as everything is optimum
Exam pattern is very hectic here as we have our end term and practical exams altogether

Placement Experience:

We get chance of internship in seventh semester...Two months of intership is compulsory and generally we are paid 15000 for internship... Companies related to horticulture and agriculture come for internship

What I Liked

The campus of my college is so big and beautiful.
The cooperative nature of the teacher and other staff for students.

What I didn’t like

I don't like the temperature of my college it too high.
Some teacher is very strict for attendance and course.

Placement Experience:

At present no placement cell is start on my college but in future it is aspect that placement cell is started by college for the students only the research work I provide for the students and teacher for benefit of farmer

Internships Opportunities:

No I didn't opted for any internship till now. At some time my college provided the internship but it is only for 4th years m.sc or phd student in which different company comes and take the review and project made by student

Rlbcau, the dream come true

What I Liked

The whole university has central air conditioning and has lift system for every floor.
There are ponds with boating systems and animal farms with goats, sheeps, cows, hens, ducks and even swans.

What I didn’t like

No sports related infrastructure and no cafeteria in the campus
No musical fests and exams are way too stressful as they are conducted very frequently.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job offers are not yet available so studentsb opt for government exams and higher postgraduate studies. There is placement cell though but it merely works as a job finder instead of being a job organiser.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is provided in the 7th semester and companies like dhanuka and manupra offer Internship with stipend of 20000 for 3 months of work. The students get exposure and experience about works and opportunities related to agricultural field.

Cultivating excellence - My experience at Rani Lakshmi Bai Central agricultural University.

What I Liked

I like college building and infrastructure which is much better than any other colleges.The campus is very beautiful, rose garden, Bougainvillea garden, herbal garden, fruit orchard, vegetable cafeteria, in front fabulous landscape of college, road divider decoration etc. Faculties stay in the quarters of the campus. Wifi facilities available for students and faculties in the campus. College bus availability are there for students tour. All over campus life is excellent
There is some plot for agricultural research like performance of yield and quality for different varieties of a particular crop, sick plot performance, genetic variation in crop etc There is an animal husbandry farm and fishery unit also which I liked so much Our campus is so beautiful that you don't need to go outside of the campus when you getting bored. It provides a fresh, beautiful, healthy environment.

What I didn’t like

Every thing has some good and bad aspects. But here bad aspects are very less. It's a semi arid area so in the summer it's very hot and dry. And in winter it's very cold ( no snowfall)
Library should open 24 hours , girls hostel gate closing time should extended a little bit.

Placement Experience:

Fertilizer, pesticides, seed , landscape companies come to our college every year , based on academic performance, group discussion and interview students are placed. The companies which visited our college are Dhanuka agri tech, Wollywood, Indorama, Happypot Garden pvt Ltd etc. They offered salary 2- 12 LPA, 70 to 90% students are placed. Students can also go for further higher studies or any government exam ( NABARD, AFO, RBI, PSC and many more ) they are eligible for it. My plan is after ug I will do MSc in horticulture, then PhD and will do research on my field.

Internships Opportunities:

In 4th year every students must have to do internship in their respective fields under industrial attachment program for 2 months. In Dhanuka agri tech, sales and marketing role with stipend ? 15000 / months. In Wollywood, sales and marketing role with stipend ?15000/ month. In Happypot Garden pvt ltd gardening workshop trainer role with ?800 /lecture. In 8 th semester, different projects work are done like organic farming, natural farming, mushroom cultivation, honey production, prepare propagative materials of different plants, land preparation, water management, fertilizer management, weed management, disease and pest management for particular crop and many more tasks are given to different students group to do .

A college of national importance that gives future wealth

What I Liked

Infrastructure of the college, at it is a well maintained building with modern architecture and facilities
Campus life where we enjoy diversity of the country with different people with different cultures.

What I didn’t like

Hostel and management. As hostel were not well maintained and mess foods quality are not that good and healthy.
I also hate about the college management. There are lots of political involvement in the college that makes students and teachers not free from hectic high level pressures

Placement Experience:

College provides placement facilities and internship opportunities to everyone who has an interest in the field of agriculture. Recruiters include ICAR and NAVARD. The highest package so far was 25L/annum. The percentage of students getting placement is 66%. My plan after my degree is to start my own business with the resources provided by the university.

Internships Opportunities:

No, I haven’t opted for any internship yet. Internships are provided to the 3rd year and final-year students. Projects include nurseries, mushroom incubators, value-added products, land can, etc. They also provide internships for horticulture consultancies.

The entire journey of rlbcau was nice.

What I Liked

Infrastructure is very good whole camps is equipped with wi-fi , cameras and centralised AC.

What I didn’t like

During exam time the gap was not provided but this problem also solved under the guidance of honarable VC sir.Also they listen the problem of students and. Solve them

Placement Experience:

Internships and placements are provided by various companies like Dhanuka, and Indorma. The internship provided by Dhanuka last year took almost all the students for internship. Placement takes place from time to time.

Internships Opportunities:

I did my internship with Dhanuka company and the daily tasks assigned to us. In this task, we have to meet the farmers and complete the data provided by the company. The internship experience was very good also an amount of 15,000 per month was provided by the company during the internship.

Overall,my college is the very best for me. after many problems phases I like my college. Thank you.

What I Liked

College campus and hostel campus too much best for a student.
College faculty members and other management members are too best in your behaviour.

What I didn’t like

Market,malls and other essential shops are very far to the college campus.
And very important thing is library time is very short for our sufficient study work.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility criteria for placement is after graduation. And scholarship is given by college is 3000/ month. And criteria of this exam is 7 CGPA in overall subject in one semester. After getting degree,many scopes are available through this course. Thank you

Internships Opportunities:

Sorry,I am only 2 nd year student bsc Hons horticulture at present time,so I have not any information for any intership. After 3 rd year of this course, intership will be started for us ,so at present time no more information for this question. Sorry
